Visiting a college buddy this week. He sure does have a nice summer home
Yes those northern lakes are awesome except for one thing that really matters the most to me is the that the fng water is too fng cold
Beautiful place!
But (there's always a but), it's in Montana where winters are brutal. So yes, it's a summer home and a beauty.
And it's Montana which is far from everything which is great. But it's far.

That is a great location. I have a cousin who is chiropractor in Big Fork. Our family had a place on Flathead early 70s thru 90s. Such great memories.North end of flat head at the mouth of the river. Eagle Bend Yacht Harbor it’s called.
We spend a fair amount of time in the Bitteroot Valley - the winters are relatively mild
I did a bicycle race in 2014 (Tour Divide) that went through Whitefish and Big Fork both. It was June 15th ish when I rode through there. It was 30-32 with freezing rain and slush.
We came into Whitefish on the back side of the lake, coming off of Red Meadow Pass. There was 24 inches of snow on the pass.We post-holed through snow for 6 hours...in June ??? Crazy.
Montana is stunning but the weather is absolutely brutal. Beautiful Home BTW.

This is the view of my grandfathers property in Whitefish. He was born and raised there. The biggest piece of shit mobile home sitting on million dollar views. Needless to say he isn’t a big fan of the California hipsters that are buying up everything around him.
