I'm happy for DCB, but kinda sad, being from East County and knowing those beauties were made in our backyard, and seeing Tony on the freeway towing them....gonna miss that!

Wish them all the best and a prosperous new Chapter!

Those engines aren't gonna miss that Elsinore water though 🤣 Man what a contradiction running those masterpieces in that lake was.

Where's the RDP article and video?

I have literally had pics of the building for a month etc.. I was told to hold off on releasing it until they wanted it out there..

Then I read about it on speed on the water.. lol. Literally wrote this text to Tony two / three weeks ago. 😳. Some irony there.. 🤪

That said I’ll take Michael out there and do a full fledged shop tour soon.

I had the pleasure of meeting Tony and Jeff, earlier this year at the Miami boat show, while taking a Mercury Racing demo ride on an M37R. Two of the nicest guys I have met in the industry hands down. With their leadership and direction we will continue to see more Works of Art from DCB. I wish them nothing but continued success in their new location.

I hope Tony stay’s. He is a big part of why DCB has produced high quality performance boats that work.
I talked to Tony, Paul and Darren and they all are staying.

Oh you have me reminded of a time maybe 10 years ago I was boating ~3 miles off Newport and ran across the Catalina Flyer just drifting while a bunch of dudes were sandblasting her paint off ..... I saw it in time so pulled way around so wind wouldn't cover our dumb asses. By the way... for those that care, she's been totally re tooled and freshened and launches 8/20 to return from PNW to serve us for Catalina cruises aagain. Summertime!

Generally as an owner of 1 story warehouse styled buildings back east one of my key components of assessment is their bathroom amenities. Shows an owner cares. Nice touch DCB.... it reflects well on your mission.

Tony and Jeff are top shelf in every category. If you don know who they are, you’ll never figure it out - very down to earth, kind guys that have a vision like nobody’s business. They are the soul of DCB. Glad they are able to continually move their company forward, but I’m not surprised by their for-site, and class. Wishing them both much success going forward .

When I was a teenager I would go to DCB look around and dream. The most genuine people you could ever meet.

I'm gonna miss seeing these beauties on the 52 and around East County.

I live in Kentucky just North of Nashville and we have manufacturing companies flocking to the Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama areas. It’s not just about the taxes. State and local governments offer big financial incentives, employees can have a better lifestyle because of a lower cost of living. We also have much less regulations on employees, pollutants, etc...
It is crazy how many people have moved here from California. Lots of them now in my practice.
I have owned a DCB since 2003 and it’s impressive that they continue to overimpress with their innovations, craftsmanship, performance and customer service. It’s a tall order to do as well as they have done in the past. I’m looking forward to what’s next.

Anybody know where in Phoenix they moved to
New shop is about 8 minutes from Sky Harbor Airport.
We will have an open house in the October time frame.. We are right in the middle of the move now with exiting California and transferring everything to Arizona. It is quite the undertaking.
California is not what it used to be and Arizona is somewhere we have been talking about relocating to for a few years.

You will be surprised how many employees we have retained because of the move. Most wanted out of this state.

Stay tuned....

Call me and you will be shocked on how much a boat of our caliber costs to manufacture. Our margins are way lower and our builds are superior. PERIOD

That was not a knock on you or the team. Where are you going to go to get another DCB? - you aren’t. The price is the price.

I don’t doubt the margins are realistic and I know the MFG costs are high. But you aren’t building boats for charity either, nor should you.

I’m sure your pricing works like anything else.. you mark up a percentage. Some people think boats should be marked up 10% 🤣. As much as I’d like that to be the case, it would be hypocritical as I make my money selling software marked up 50-70%.

Congrats on the move and a bitchen building..... I would love to hear you're opinion on the move itself and what unexpected challenges came up... Sooner than later I'll have to do the same and have been pushing it off due to the unknown challenges.

Tony, I'm curious if DCB offered employees assistance in the relocations. In a relatively small company such as yours I believe its very crucial to sustain the culture and seeing as how your product is so precise I'm interested in knowing. I'll understand if this is far too intimate a question to answer publicly.
Cheers to the new beginning in AZ!

Thanks for having the big balls to respond. Fellas, I think we'd all agree that this is a company to get behind in todays pussified corp culture devaluing employees. Very impressive. Great company/ Great boat!

You guys'll do just fine.
Now get that super duper ac working asap... I don't have to remind you moved just in time for that oh so special climate out there. 😜
