To be perfectly transparent. My prior statements where before Trumps speech at the RNC…

If you look into the history of my comments on Trump over the years. I have stated many many many times, that I do not think he is the best choice for the Republican party for many reasons.

After the assassination attempt, and his speech at the RNC… from someone who is not a Trump loyallist… Dems are in 100% panic mode right now.

I thought prior to this, backed up on prior threads, he would pick Vance, due to electoral votes of Ohio. What I didnt mention is he already has FL and no need to pick Rubio, or candidates with less electoral votes than Ohio. Which is why I thought Vance would be the choice… Which secures the 60 yr old plus demographic and the Veterans demographic which brings Va as almost guaranteed Trump electoral votes. There is no path of success for Dems without OH and VA. The bad news on that subj is there was not a viable Wisconsin person to put on the ticket to secure WI… which is why the RNC is in WI… and Trumps speech, promised WI, lots of prosperity, with ship building and other manufacturing opportunitys. Trump literally stated he is buying WI votes to have the RNC convention in WI…

Saying all of that.. as someone who is not a Trump loyalist. I believe he has 85% chance of winning at this point and time. The only reason I am not 95%, is because I truly cannot factor in the level of corruption plaquing all aspects of the system.

If the Dema think Trump is unbeatable, they may just keep Joe in so they don’t sacrifice a “better” candidate.

Or Kamala becomes that sacrifice, she’s basically unelectable on her own anyways.

But conservatives should not count their chickens before they hatch…a lot can happen between now and November.

I am pretty sure all Dems (not progressives), understand the writing on the wall. This election is over. Its way to late in the game to come back from where they are today, and all the lies they have been caught in, and the failed policys.

Kamala is desperate enough to try. That would be a win for the Dems, because it doesn’t go against their own rules of electing the democratic nominee, knowing she will lose. Basically saving face, and setting the ground work for 2028…

Hakeem… thats the long shot. I give him less than 15% chance of getting the nod. Even if is happens, the Dems would lose alot of credibility by flushing Kamala… and he still cannot win… If he did win the dem nominee… that would truly show how powerful the progressive are within the democratic party

IMHO the only thing that is getting in the way (and has been getting in the way) is the money.
$240M in campaign funds, the payoffs, the insider trading, the corruption of the Biden Crime Family.

What happens to all the Money and how Campaign Finance laws are navigated is what the talks are really about and is the only thing that is being discussed. Nobody cares about Joe's well being, he sold his soul decades ago. This guy was never going to ride off in the sunset and enjoy his last years on this planet. His hanger on-ers are trying to grab whatever they can, and the DNC is trying to figure out how to legally move the money, or at least not get caught moving it.

There is only one play to have a remote chance to save the downstream ballot for the DNC and not be totally gutted. They have to run the VP, and take the loss. IMHO they are just trying to figure out how to not also lose the money along the way. If you hitched your wagon to Biden, your horse is dead. We've watched the campaign advertisements shift for Tester in Montana, he is throwing Biden under the bus now. His polling is suggesting he is cooked. I hope so.

It’s a polling/numbers game. Gotta be pretty wild behind the scenes at the DNC trying to figure it out. They won’t just lose 12% of the vote by skipping the giggler/gobbler. It’ll piss off every white guilt, Biden supporter in the party.
