I agree whole heartedly who doesn't enjoy selling something for free? LOL. I have told this story on here before, but I was at roadrunner once and this guy says "You're riverdave right? I sold my trailer on your website, I sold my boat on there and a couple other things.. You should give me a free shirt."

This guy sounds like he is ungrateful.

I like the idea of your Toy Syndicate page. I dont mind paying to sell something especially if the ad service is putting in some leg work and really advertising and trying to sell my product. However i like to sell my things for free too.

Kinda like selling a house, you can higher a realtor or sell by owner.

I get it though you are a business man, and this is your sandbox. Its a bummer to see things change but it is what is. I wish you the best and hope TS does take off.

With your new site will members be able to link the ad the way they currently do Craigs list, eBay etc and ask opinions, who owns this, anyone know the history??

Guy listed an impala yesterday.. The seo and seo on social media works incredibly well which is where the intrinsic value comes in.. I think it will end just fine?

Finally was able to upload an ad, any way to change the contact name?? Just uses my default username and doesn't look like you can change it.

All ads are hand approved and they themselves are improved upon by the back end guy by helping to select the right cover photo when someone forgets.. adding searchable criteria for social media etc.. the 100.00 isn’t worthless their is value there.

I dunno anyone that uses Craigslist anymore.. the scammers the bullshit it’s insane. Fb market place has become “is this item still available?” Over and over..

These sites are a small bridge from a broker that will actually show the you for 6-10%.. to people that want to sell themselves but don’t want to deal with all the shit of putting them in multiple locations. Let alone trying to learn seo on the web and social media sites to get seen.

I buy and sell mostly everything on Facebook MP....I never respond to someone asking, "Is this still available" I just ignore those messages, if they are serious and I havent answered, they will ask again, thats when I know they are at least serious about asking...I like FB MP because you can filter it to how close they are to you...if I am looking for something small, I dont care if Tim in Arizona is selling it for cheap, its too far....

Maybe because it's just so simple now just by scrolling down. I'm never looking for anything in particular, and rarely do I sell on here so maybe that's why a new site hasn't got my interest. If it works for you, that's what matters.

Yes on the Toy Syndicate site, when making an account you choose a username, that username defaults as the the contact name on the ad. Which is fine but you can't change it. I'm listing my Grandpas boat and want to use his name.

I Liked it, simple and efficient to use the "select primary image" feature is awesome.
one thing would be to privatize the contact info a bit instead of blasting phone numbers/email all over the internet. it has the ability to send users emails so why not expand that to something like craigslist does. Anything to protect our private info these day would be much apperciated

Will look into this today.

We may have an option where it cross references rdp for screen names and passwords as well.
