Just picked up a 2018 F350 and need a tonneau cover. Looking at either a folding or roll top, what’s the best version and brand?

Check out the Extang Solid Fold 2.0. Watertight, easy to deal with, no permanent rails or drain tubes. I have one on both trucks. If you need the entire bed it takes 5 min to remove it. Does not weigh a ton either.

I have a few friends that have BackFlip. They make different versions, they look alike but they have different features.

Seems like they hold up well and the guys like them.

I just bought the backflip revolver x2. It rolls up, so far I really like it. I've had it about a week

You guys with the Bak products will see they don't hold up well overtime. Warranty claims are a pain with them also.

I really liked the Retrax I had on my old 2002 Tundra although hated the loss of one foot of bed space. I now have a 2012 Tundra and have the Truxedo Lo-Pro QT roll up cover and I like it. The Truxedo has a life-time warranty on the entire cover including the velcro. I just wish it was more secure.

Best tonenau cover I've ever had and I've had a bunch of 'em including Bak-flip and solid panel fiberglass painted to match, etc., is the Roll-N-Lock M-Series (or the electronic if you want remote control): https://rollnlock.com/truck-bed-products/m-series-tonneau-cover

My new f150 i had the dealer order the ford version . Its between the rails and folds. Water tight, or very close
Has the ford logo but its identical to the bak flip, but cheaper. Have them install it before you take the truck, thats what i did so its inder warranty at the dealer

I have the retraction MMX pro and really like it except for the amount of space lost. The lock and roll looks great since you the carrier is small

So I have had two Bak flip g2 covers they both started to sag in the middle. The company was great for warranty stuff. I just bought the undercover ultra flex this time because I never like the dirt that built up in the heavy grain texture of the backflip I can't give you a review of the undercover because it has only been two weeks but so far so good. I like the folding covers vs the rollers but that part is all personal preference
