Best restaurant's in Lake Tahoe?

Me and my wife are staying at Harrah's in Lake Tahoe the next 2 night's. Any suggestions for breakfast spot's and steak houses for dinner?

Rojos BBQ. Great ribs, steaks etc. Less than two miles from Harrahs on Lake Tahoe Blvd and Tallac. Also at the same corner there is a tiny sandwich shop called Yellow Submarine. They have the worlds best pastrami sandwich bar none.

I was told from some locals I use to that Bert's was a great breakfast spot. Years ago we had dinner at Fridays Steak house at Harrah's and from what I remember it was good.

We are going on the Rubicon Trail tomorrow and going to buy some sandwiches for the trail so we probably will try them.

I went to Friday's Station two weeks ago. Make reservations if you go. Get the Baked Tahoe dessert.

Make reservations about 15-30 minutes before sunset, views are great.

Grew up in SLT, best sandwich place in the world is that yellow submarine when I was in HS, their hot pastrami was the bomb. Glad to hear 30 years later they are still there. I lived right behind this shop by Regan Beach

Berts is really good as well, Ernies up the street, we usually go to Ernies.

Charthouse and Evans. Evans took care of us during the heavy pandemic with a big party when nobody else would. Then stayed open late while we continued to wash down a killer dinner. Family owned and operated. Great couple.

Although not in the same league as the steakhouses listed above, you won't beat the view from Charthouse up the Kingbury Grade at sunset.

Cool little pub with great food!

Go upstairs to Friday's Station. Also, no one really knows this but there is little bar on the same floor over by the buffet. Excellent place to watch the sunset and if you put a couple bucks in the machine where you are sitting the bartenders will pump you full of free drinks. I've watched like 5 Super Bowls there. Also it's smokeless which is nice.

I will add that you can always get in to Friday's Station with no reservation if you sit at the bar. And Lucky Beaver is really good.

Is the Sonny's up there part of the huge chain or solo? we ate at Sonny's in Gainesville FL a few times after being told its just a chain but it had the best ribs we have ever had out of everywhere we ate except for Memphis bbq in Fayetteville NC. As for Steaks, NOTHING beats Ciera's service and quality. We eat there at least twice every trip.

Riva grill at ski run has nice deck area if you want a restaurant on the lake. Ernies is my childhood favorite for breakfast and lunch but Berts and Red Hut are yummy. Too bad Downtown cafe in Meyers is gone. They had the best ultimate hash browns.

I love to travel and I can safely say that I know many good places to eat. Having dinner or lunch at a good restaurant with reasonable prices on the menu was one of my main goals while traveling. Because I like discovering new cultures, and food says a lot about a country's culture. So I can recommend a site that provides you with more detailed information about restaurants.
