What I did? I got the f*ck out of CA, took my capital gains on the sale of my house, bought 1.3 acres in Meridian, ID, with a 50x30 RV garage, installed a bitchen 20x40 pool with baja shelves on both ends, poured a shit ton of concrete, and am in the process of building about a 1000 sf outdoor patio party area. With that being said, my pool guy installed a sand filter and recommended an electric pool cleaner. He said with the suction ones and sand filter, I will have to backwash a lot more.
