I've got a 94 FXR. Doug's Custom paint, customized, detachable windshield and saddle bags. I set it up for touring for my wife. I really don't to deal with people coming over or wasting my time.
Any ideas?

If your Wife is up to it and may belong to some sort of online Ladies groups have her post it with good pic's.

I've sold a bunch of vehicles on FB Marketplace with pretty good luck, heard horror stories though?

What do you want for it?
$8K. It comes with a pneumatic lift like the dealers use. Needs wheel bearings repacked, tires, timed out ,and a brake fluid flush. Speedo was replaced at approx 8K miles. Has a total of approx 21000 miles. Aftermarket cam, PM brakes front and rear. Really a great running reliable bike that's been babied by my wife. You can see the lift in attached picture. Also video of bike running.

“Bike for sale, only crashed once, will consider trades for prosthetic leg and knee surgery”
I kind of had to laugh. Owned a few bikes, put one down. Still rode after. After my car wreck, decided I better not push my luck any further.

I rode for 38 years on the street. Been cross country from Cali to Wisconsin twice. Never went down. I call that good luck and having eyes in the back of my head.

Beautiful FXR. Do you have a (reputable) local independent big twin shop that might be interested in taking it on consignment, or at least putting it on display for a month or two?

If it were a regular old Softail or Dyna I’d say to list in the regular places, but clean FXRs are hard to find, I’d try to get some eyes on it at a cruise in or bike night. I sent it to a couple of buddies who ride as well.

Also, that looks like a Handy lift, those start at $1600 new nowadays, and still fetch good money used to those who want a quality lift. Maybe the same (theoretical) shop I mentioned before would be interested in a trade- the lift for a set of tires and a full 10k service to make the bike 100% ready to go?

All great ideas. Thank you!
By the way, I am the original owner of the FXR. Had it for 30 years. Probably put 100 miles on it the past 10 years. My wife took up horses. That was the end of "team" riding for vacations.
