If you had to pick 1... 1 boat for each area as a best all around boat what would it be?

My votes..

Lower River - 21 (don't really care what kind it is, they all suck.. pun intended) Probably a Spectra 19 (closed bow) or 20 for myself though..

Parker - Conquest Top Cat 1 (hate the dual helm personally)

Havasu / Mead - I'm up in the air on about 10 different boats.. Hallett 270 would be tough to beat though.

Havasu mead and mochoppy I'd go with Lavey then hallet

Parker= my boat or a v-drive spectra or shiada. After watching and makin friends with some of the owners these style of boats grew on me this year.

Lower river I'm not a fan at all. As a kid my parents took us to all the spots north and south of Blythe. Never really liked it

I have always thought a 23' Ultra deck would be a great lower river boat.

Lower River -Spectra 20 Jet

Parker - Schiada 22 Whaler

Havasu / Mead - Schiada 22 Whaler

Back in the 80's the guy that owned the Humdinger clubs had a place next to ours (moonridge) and he had a boat exactly like that that said Humdinger on the side and he would load that boat up with a bunch of hot chicks from the clubs and cruise up and down the river drawing attention to all the nakedness he had on board.....it was always a wonderful site :thumbsup As for an upper, middle & lower boat....mine works wonderful everywhere :thumbsup :D

Lower - Daytona of some sort
Parker - A twin mosquito boat of some sort. Maybe a F-26 w/ 300's
The Lakes - Laveycraft mid cuddy Neu Era 26 with an HP500 min. Bitchen example for sale in Parker next to Terribles right now. $42k and looks brand freaking new.

Lower river, one of those badass aluminum race jet boats. Parker 20' 21' 22' or 24' schiadas are all awesome, all v-drives for sure. Mead, Powell, Havasu, Mohave, Bachelor status 24' schiada v-drive. Family status Lynch's 27 Hallett is hands down the best running one of all time. If i was to choose and build new it would be the same as lynch's setup but with a VI drive and a blueprinted bottom, NO STEPS :skull

Twin ob's have trouble with moderate to high speed turns and chop...aka Parker. Unless you like making uncontrollable hard turns left or right :skull

Of course you can always turn slow...but how much fun is that? :D

I will consult you before I buy. :D I am in the final stages of that Ocean Cat deal so this is simply BS talk for me if we sign on the line.

I will still keep up my 2x per year stringent river trip schedule though.:bash::D:D

I never had a problem turning in Parker....heck I even had to do a 180 in front of echo due to someone not looking where they were going....:)

I am sure it is driver more so than boat..:)..as I had both i/o and outboard and OB was more responsive to turning at speed than the the i/o....twin sticks will do that

My favorite river boat. Really fun on Parker and Needles, but a little small for Havasu (where this picture was taken). Unfortunately we don't have it anymore

Pull power to the inside motor, turn, and push back? Yes?

An F-26 with 300's and an open bow would make my parker day. Kids up front for crusing, everybody back for hauling the mail. Two engines...no more breakdown drama. :bash:;)

Push/Pull , yes....

In addition, the push/pull spin on a dime nature made it easier to deal with docking and current issues along the strip.

He said VI drive... I.E> 6 drive.

RD

Yep 27' Hallett, closed bow, no steps, Big Brummett turbo motor, 6 drive.

Big enough to get you home on a rough rough day, small enough to tow with most trucks and store easily. Should run right around 100mph, never break, and cruise the lake all day long at 50mph :thumbsup

lowers- my TPR 19' tunnel!
North of Big River- 20' Schiada V-driven
Parker and north 22DCB with only a single 300.
Thats all I need, but I would end up taking either or of the three wherever it best suits the day!

Now that I think about it...has anyone seen this boat around Havasu? From my understanding its with its 5th owner now and I'm curious to see if it left the state or not?

Its not about how big it is, or how fast it goes... Its really about how often you get it out and use it.
