Whole lotta love. Sex in a song.
One of my few regrets was not going to a free concert with my rocker buddy Phil Spouse in jr hi. He begged me to go see this new group at a promo concert at Pershing park. How good could it be if its free? Who the fuck is Led what?:grumble:

"Thank You" is my favorite also.

Followed by Achilles last stand, Tea for one, and Kashmir.

Tea for one is just gut wrenching deep blues. Achilles is likely their most difficult, complex song.

Way too many great songs.

This. They did it all: blues jams, straight up rockin, folky acoustic, epic symphony backed rock.

If I had to pick a best one, Kashmir.

10 years gone, Tangerine and The Rain Song are favorites. A lot of the deep cuts that aren't radio hits are just as great.

Physical Graffiti and III.

I like pretty much everything on the first four albums. I wore them out as a teenager.

Awful interview. Worst I've heard on the Stern Show and it was Robert Plant that killed any chance for chemistry.

As for best Zep song - I nominate Led Zeppelin 1 (the whole album) https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLrsbQkjm7ZKDTXpJ4sGBT0yd4-L1m1081

And this is the song for Grads: Your Time is Gonna Come

Really? I thought it was good, the end got a little awkward though. I don't think he, Plant, was going to talk about some of the things other guests would. I love hearing about the history of bands, especially iconic bands.

Yep it's awesome.

That is an Anne Bredon song written around 1959 or so, and originally recorded by Joan Baez in 1962.
It had been recorded by no less than 5 different bands before Zep did it in 69
Like I said, as great as that debut album was, it's all uncredited remakes.

These guys aren't Zeppelin but, in today's pool of shit music they are a breath of fresh air for us rockers. First time I heard it I thought it was an unrealesed Zeppelin song. They do fucking rock. Turn it up and catch them at their next show at the Troubadour this next week.

I find myself listening to their "B sides" because 95.5 KLOS ruined zeppelin for me over the last 15 years. I can live my whole life without hearing "whole lotta love" or "Rock 'n roll" ever again......

I'd say one of my favorite songs right now, is "The Rover" off Physical Graffiti
