Good morning,

I have been searching the internet without much luck for high quality, large 35" x 70" towels for the boat. Does anyone have a great vendor they use?

Thank you,

Nick

I bought a couple sets of these. The thing about towels is they do go missing or get used in emergencies. . I wanted a boat set which was easily identifiable as ours, looked nice, wouldn’t bother me if they were lost or ruined and most importantly soft and absorbent. We are very happy with these:

Thank you for the response. I will check those out. I ordered 3 types and the first that arrived were way too thin. Waiting for the others hopefully today.

Be careful on which Turkish towels you get. Wife bought these last season. You’re better off just standing in the sun to dry off.

Get some decent bath sheets from Bed, Bath & Beyond and have your boats logo embroidered on them. I have been gifted these by some friends and they have worked out great.

Well they look like shit but the microfiber towels on Amazon for traveling are money.

We used them on our bvi trip this month and they dry quick, absorb a lot, and fold to fit in a boat glove box.

I think that we bought ours from Sam’s Club or Costco. @BUDMAN had a nice set that he showed me. Not sure where he got his. He had them embroidered which was a nice touch. @DWC is right on the type that you bought. Mrs. DWC showed us the thin ones which are good for my wife to get wet and give her a bit more comfort and cooling off in the heat of summer. But it is minimal on drying off or comfort. 👍 Be sure to post up what you find as we are a couple of years with out set and might need to replace shortly.

Costco had some nice big beach towels yesterday. They also have the life vests in stock.

A member recommended this etsy page after I wanted custom Howard towels. They are blue. I washed them about 3 times before use even though they were already pre washed. They have lasted over 4 years and still absorb and are soft.

We just bought white towels from Walmart. Worked great and cheap enough to replace when needed.
That is what I do, I even bought bath mats to put in the upholstery where ppl step getting in the boat. The rubber backing on the bath mat keeps it from being slippery

I think I bought these same ones for our boat, only with darker blue stripes....my only complaint was I had to wash them multiple times upfront to get all the lint off....but I use them for everything now, for sitting on in the boat, for drying off if someone forgot a towel, and I also use them to wipe the boat down when we pull out of the water....they get washed after every boat day, folded, and put back in the boat....they have lasted me a few years now...although one of them did grow legs and run off somewhere....

X Two on the microfiber towels!

They dry very quickly, don't trap sand, won't ever stink, will not bleed color & are cheap on Amazon... I'm no longer worried about my towels being a match to the boat. If 1 or 4 get lost absolutely no sweat...

$7 each on Amazon.

If you have carpet, get the same color towels as your carpet.

It’s not so much to match the floors, it makes it less noticeable from towel lint..

Way back many moons ago, the best towels you could buy was the JC Penny towel. JC Penny does not carry that same line anymore. It was a special cotton mixture.

I even got two full sets to match my boats interior colors. My Larson was white & black on top, white on the bottom with a silverish/gray interior. Almost a platinum color.

JC Penny had a silver towel that matched perfectly.

Still have the towels. Don't have the boat any more.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to comment. Here is what I went with. It only took 4 orders to find the right ones but I am happy. Thanks again.

Here are some random towels but a few ways to copy the link. If you need more help with getting the link let me know and I can assist. 👍

Those towels look great. I'm a former Howard owner so I really appreciate the look of the embroidery. It says the Etsy shop is taking a break.:(

Hopefully it’s just a spring break and she’ll be back soon. I am very happy with the quality of towels. We still have all 8. I don’t use them for the pool, and use either cheer color guard or woolite.

Dillards in havasu… They have crazy sales a couple times a year on towels. Every other year we go in there and replace every house, pool, and boat towel…usually 50-65% off the top quality brands.

Dillards wherever you live…just watch for the sales. We got a bunch of the round beach towels last year for a crazy discount. There’s like 10 of them in the closet because of it.
