Best Amp to go with

OP, that 600/6 is a good amp. I have it tucked under the steering wheel in my jeep and it rocks the shit out of my polks.
If you dont go JL, Alpine pdx is also really good

Don't mean to hijack thread, I just got 4 Rockford fosgate amps I don't have a clue about audio equipment I'm a mechanic not sure if these could work for you but I'm looking to get rid of them.

Nothing wrong with an old fosgate but they run really hot and kill batteries like its there job.

Digital vs. old school is like a old light bulb vs. led if that makes sense. The technology is amazing and the power they put out in a small foot print is crazy.

I agree...love them old Fosgate for power....keep them for your cars and get digital for the boat. :thumbsup

I've got 2 in my boat.....it's been so long since I've used it, they're already nostalgic. I'll keep you in mind if I ever pull it out of the museum.... I'll upgrade them to digital ones.

i would guess u only need the leds for night rides. Im building a system as well and basically have the same package as you except im only going with 4 sets.

I got all my stuff on Amazon and Ebay. Alpine PDX amp, Alpine Type R sub, and JL speakers

I did the R&R of all the old speakers and amp myself, and took it to a shop to get an extra pair of speakers and a custom box installed.

The class d amps do much better than a/b in the heat. Nothing is bullet proof, but these come pretty damn close. (PDX, XD, etc)
