I would like to get one of these Bed Rugs for my new pickup ( 1990 just new to me) but they dont make them to fit my old truck, close but ?? So any of you guys have one in your truck? Are they worth it, I mean $435 seems excessive to me but I guess its the going price, cant find one for any less.

Think there was a thread about this within the past month. A member was able to find one.

I get them in every truck I own. Use to get the full drop in that covers the sides, tailgate and front part of the bed, but now I just do the bottom/tailgate rug.

I’ve had this one in my truck 20+ years. I love it. Kind of showing its age these days.
When new I could put dirt, rock etc. in the bed and shovel it out clean.

I have Line-X and a rubber bed mat in my Tundra but have considered a bed rug. The bed rug would be much better when crawling around on my knees.

I have one in my "nice" truck that also has a canopy. I love it. I have another pickup that I use as a "truck" though, so if I only owned a single pickup, I would probably NOT have a bedrug. I like to have a truck I can throw shit in the bed and not worry about.

I've had a Bed-Rug in my 07 Tundra since it was new, love it, but I only basically haul clean stuff, like suitcases, boxes, furniture etc. Looks like the day I bought it, but I also have a tonneau cover. They are pretty tough, I think it's like spun polypropylene. I would also say, if you wanted to protect the bed from dents and scratches from rock and similar stuff a hard liner would be better.

I had one that I just gave away, it didn't fit in my new truck. I had it in my last two trucks (was still like new after 6 1/2 years). Always help up great!

I picked up another one for the new truck, this one has gotten some moisture recently by the tailgate from the shell leaking a little. I open up the back of camper shell to let it air dry in the sun and we are good to go. Money well spent in my opinion.

I had a rubber mat in my last truck, and I have a BedRug now. I liked the rubber mat better in terms of keeping things from sliding around. The BedRug is “ok” in that sense, but not the same. I’ve also had Line X, and didn’t like how it scratches stuff.

Have one in my truck for 11 years. I like them especially if you have to get in bed of truck on your knees. The padding on the bed rug is extra thick to fill up the corrugations of the bed floor. Saves the knees.

I will add the drawback I have found is being able to slide full pallets into truck. Need long forks to place in as if a heavy pallet of mulch.

every truck since '06, ,,, Before that (since the mid 70's) I had the wood bed kits, and always had a shell..

Frankly your personal preference. Consider how and what you use you truck for... Will it be covered with a shell or flat cover? Exposed to the weather? just nice to keep shit from banging around or an occasional comfort pad? for me all of the above

They're pretty hardy but exposure to the weather will definitely age it quickly

Worth it? up to you

Incidentally .. I PM'd you with details......apparently you found it somewhere else?

I have one in my ram with a camper shell.
Like throttle, I just open the windows on the shell to air it out.
I don’t believe I’ll own another truck without one.

I've had a bed rug in my truck for 20 years and it still looks great. I also have a snug top shell on it and I'm sure that has helped keep it looking great. The cost was around $ 350.00 20 years ago so they haven't gone up much in price.

I’ve had one for 15 years now. 13+ in the Tundra and now in the Dually. Truly durable. I load all kinds of things on top of it. Scrubs clean and drys quick.

That said, I’ve always had a shell covering it as well.

I have a spray in liner with a rubber fitted mat. It's thicker and really holds thing in place.

I’ve had bed rugs in couple of trucks and loved them
I callled them to see if they would even make me a custom one since they don’t have them for the 80s Chevy 8’ bed
It was a flat out no 🙁
at the boat show today there was a pickup that had sea deck in the back
Now that might be cool
Don’t know how good it would hold up thou

My past three trucks over the last 25 years have all had them, and my next truck will as well. Worth every penny to me.
