My 2001 gmc savana work van needs rotors and bearings. Again.
The last set I did made some bearing noise right away. On one side. Reset lash and checked them a few times and couldn't get it to go away.
The replacement rotors come/came with the bearing race already installed.
Should I pull these races and install the races that came with the new bearings?

I’d run the races the rotors came with personally.

I tighten those castle nuts to 25 ft lbs and then heat cycle them a couple times and check for play and re torque if needed.

Decided to run the races that came with the rotors.
My Haynes call for setting the lash at 12ft# a couple times then only tightening, hand tight. Loosen more if needed to get the cotter key to line up with the castle nut.
Seems a bit loose to me but all seems good...
