[Motor Boater]

The season is winding down now so lets see a show of hands. How many people jumped into the river with their wallet, keys or cell phone in their pocket this year? I haven't done it in years but actually went in with my cell phone a few weeks ago. I think last time it happened I was pushed in with my wallet. So lets hear it?

I wouldn't say I jumped in....but about a month the ago. I went in with my cellphone while getting into RDs boat. It was a long night of multiple goldschlager shots. Funny thing is RD laughed his ass off. A couple weeks later I returned the favor when he fell off my boat ;-)

took my boat out in long beach harbor back when i first got it for a shakedown... reached over to grab a line the fuel dock guy tossed me and my phone was in my hoodie pocket. PLOP! right into the water faster than i could blink.

forgot wallet in pocket after getting gas in havasu, taking boat off trailer and went a little too deep. no biggie. no cash and all plastic. 5 minutes in the sun and it was dry again.

haha...i did this year, about a week ago. :swear although its been a while.

My phone and buddies wallet were in the boat, when it burned damn near to the water line...

Wallet and keys. but all my keys are old type so no big deal. I did loose 2 hats and a pair of glasses. They blew right off.

Just over a year for me. Fell in with an iphone that was a week old, wallet and $300 sunglasses. Didnt realize I lost the glasses till after I got out and dried off. I went back in for the glasses and found em. Felt pretty damn lucky.

A few weeks back, Throttle pulled up to our place at the Landing, I swam out to see what was up. We floated for a bit, then he and his crew were off to the sandbar, so I jumped off the boat. Wasnt till I swam in and was walking up the beach that I realized I'd lost a brand new pair of sunglasses.
He was halfway between shore and the no wake bouys when I jumped off, no way will I find em.
Then there's the story of my money clip and cash getting into the boat at the dock....

I jumped in the water at the channel with my cell phone let it dry out in 100+ weather took it to apple and luckily they replaced it no questions asked they said the screen went bad

JBS tried to take me out getting into the rollbar boat at RR earlier this summer. Somehow managed to stay dry with my phone & wallet but took out a speaker grill on our way down into the open bow. By far the slowest boat fall on record lasting about 30 seconds start to finish lol Didn't realize I'd cut the crap out of my foot until I saw bloody footprints everywhere..looked like a murder scene!

Little different. Almost lost the Droid on the highway last Sat. Trailered the Rhino from Dessert Bar, through town and up the Cali side to Echo Lodge. Get out and cant find my phone. Look back and its just about to fall off the side of the trailer. :thumbsup
