I'll be there, sounds like fun. Just got my boat last september, so it will be fun to meet some other jet guys - plus I only live about 25 minutes from Bartlett... So how long does everybody stay? Is it just a one day thing or do you guys stay for the whole weekend?

Most will be there early Saturday. Im trying to get there early Friday. Some will be there Thursday til Sunday. So yup peoples be camping. I know more than a few are bringing in their RVs and or Haulers.

If one was going to this event i would say get there early saturday or friday. From my understanding most people are getting there saturday, some friday. Seeing as how im busy that weekend i wont be there

Us west siders have to trailer our boats to barty. Those east side ogs must have figured out a way there by back water as cave is saying half of em will show up in boats. That I gotta see. We are OG! We start at the Lower Salt river up the canal then hop over the dam. U never seen a jet boat Jump? Poor grammar for sure. If 20 people with boats in tow make it out its going to be an EPIC get together. Forecast is at 89? on Friday, 90? Saturday. Sunday 91? Oh Yea...

Bartlett Dam Rd all the way to the bottom. Hang a left at the rd to Yellolw cliffs (well marked)

Take this rd all the way past the launch ramp, basically your gunna drive straight in till the rd turns to dirt. At this point your in the wash headed left sown to the shore line.

I'm not cave but, I have been there in my 2-wheel drive F150 without issues. But, I didn't try to launch/retreive a boat from shore either. We'll see how that goes this weekend....

This has been a concern for a few. Just to the north is the lunch ramp for SB Cove. I'm sure you could launch from the beach but if its steap, its going to be tough. I also know that many in the group will help you out. If your concerned then launch from the ramp. It's right there next to the beach.

Barty is peaceful, scenic, remote, narrow, clean, eagles, burros, birds, and few ginormous boats, nice people. Anti lake pleasant matter of sorts. See you there.

the first pic posted is of an area between the ramp and marina at the south end of the lake. i do believe you can rent that spot out.

the second pic is of sb cove. the "beach"/wash at the bottom of the pic is where everyone likes to go.

Left at the pay station area/main ramp. Follow the road to the next ramp/parking area. Go south through the parking lot to Sb cove.

its easy. like the others said you turn left after the old pay stations on bartlett dam road. its marked with signs. then basically follow that road to the end after it wraps around the parking lots and passes the shithouses.

uploading my pix now. lots of boats there. i don't know who it was that put up the "get your event photos here" banner on the van(sweet van BTW) but i think that was a terrible move, just like wearing the floatfest t-shirts last year at the non official event floatfest. but by the time i went to say something it was already flipped over and i'm pretty sure the cops had already seen it.

the sherrifs were casing the place all day on land. some boats lined up but i saw it got broken up by the sherrif boat. one was told to keep his boat off the water while others were still allowed for the same infraction. oh well i heard it was an attitude thing :blah:

great day yesterday for sure though . weather was perfect, lake wasn't that busy but the water was a bit chilly. i'm ready for summer
