I did read on FB from folks that helped the semi driver that it was a lady in her 50’s and she was having a stroke. They said the truck went airborne at one point. She still had her foot on the gas when they pulled her out. An off duty fire I believe was helping her. I’ll see if there’s any report on the car drivers. I just read that several were transported.

I've always had to take behind wheel safety courses due to a company car deal.... gonna be measuring tire skid marks.... I was blown away learning how long it takes a loaded big rig to stop at speed. That front end looks like it might've never gotten to breaking.
My brother-in-law is a retired Colorado State Trooper captain. He travels around the country with other ex-troopers teaching these company car/truck classes for a company out of Denver. I'm 59 years old and have driven since 15 and I always learn new stuff from him that really comes in handy.

Pretty cool training from the pros.... really helps me behind the wheel just in daily driving. The group my firm uses is a group of retired Nascar dudes/ women traveling the country for hire by corporations with drivers everywhere. Nice folks.

One person has now died.
Sad but not surprising. The red sedan was damaged so badly it was impossible to determine the make and model. It looked like a bomb had exploded under it.
