It’s occurs to me that most of my bad decisions have lead to really good times, met great friends, made money (revenue not profits), got laid etc…..
I was talking with a colleague the other day, he’s 27 years old, parents dropped him off at kindergarten and told him to be good and do what he was told, he did and now has an amazing career, owns a few houses, buying more and setting up passive income streams. He’s making and has made all the right choices. I asked him what his worst decisions was and he had a hard time coming up with one
I’m encouraging him to come make bad choices with me and few other older guys. Lately we've been playing with airplanes, I cannot think of a worse financial thing to be involved with, well maybe habitual cocaine use, thoroughbred horse racing, high performance boats or tech startups and dancers named Destiny or Charity, but other than that airplanes are amazingly terrible financial decisions that can never be justified. But holy shit are they a good time.
What I’ve learned about aviation so far is that it doesn’t end until your strapped to a rocket and headed to space, and if you’ve done it right you will die broke with a hangar/hangars full of broken airplanes or maybe even space ships
What’s your best bad decision?
