With the "supply chain issues" what is the longest you have waited for something to be in stock. This morning I received a notification that a product I order 3/2021 was in stock. A FMF Exhaust header. I just assumed they canceled the order a long time ago.

Waited over a year for Thermador Kitchen appliances.......still didn't have a build/delivery date for the under counter wine fridge so I went with a different brand. It matches close enough and was way cheaper.

Waited 6 months for Mickey Thompson slicks. Still waiting for BFG's for my truck. Supposedly they'll have em in stock mid March. I've seen several smaller parts companies go under or cancel orders on stuff that isn't selling. Headers for a B20 Honda have become almost non existent for example.

I waited 9 months for a new Atlas Copco air dryer at work. Pre Covid this was a stock item but now built to order due to supply chain issues.

Can’t hire someone local-ish to just make headers?

With all of the shutdowns in china lots of input materials, especially aluminum shapes, have been a nightmare to get and are CRAZY expensive. This is the unfortunate snake rearing it's head of gutting your own heavy manufacturing industries.

Like 6 month lead times if your lucky and 4x the price pre covid. Tubing costing like 10-12 dollars a pound when 3 years ago it was between 2 and 3 dollars per lb.

11 months for kitchenaid appliances. Lead time was 17 days when I paid for them. Customers were not happy.
In March 2021 when I paid for the header the lead time was around 30 days. Then I was told around 2 months. 2 years later...

We bought 2 chairs over thanksgiving. I get one tomorrow and the other at the end of March. LOL. Lady at the store said that was a great lead time since previously it has taken 9 months to get a chair. WTF??

The FMF stuff has been horrible. Gone through a couple bikes without ever having the correct silencer I wanted being available.

60 weeks for switchgear. And no, they don’t say “one year and two months” or “14 months” they like to say “60 weeks 😃

This was over a year ago. I almost bought kitchenaid for another project on black Friday sale. The reviews were horrible. Even the appliance sales manager said not to. They have had nothing but problems lately. But inventory is caught up now. Thinking they might of sped up the process and quality is sacrificed.

I was shocked shopping for a washer/dryer this weekend past weekend (speed queen) that both places had them in stock.

I've been waiting since July for a TCM for my LML Duramax. GM is estimating delivery as 2nd qtr 23'. One day I'll have a truck again. Last I checked there were over 500 on back order.

I receiver the muffler like 4 months after ordering. No point in putting the muffler on just to pull it off to put the header on. lol

In the pool bizz for 35 years...everything is on backorder.
Waited 7 months for a new Pentair salt cell. Finally received it mid-December. Of course, the water is too cold to produce chlorine now but at least I have it.

Suppliers of the few items we've had delays on aren't using the back ordered excuse anymore.
They just take your money and you wait. Estimated delivery date means nothing.

Latest we ordered a TASER Pulse. Was supposed to be here in 5 days,, and that was a month ago. We contact them, only response is it'll soon be shipped.

DJI Drones the same thing. They don't say anything other than it'll be shipped soon. That's since October.

KTM Motorcycle parts? You can forget that. Friends have been waiting since summer.

Sat on one new Motorcycle at the dealer showroom, looked down where the compression release was supposed to be it was gone and a $20 bill stuck in it's place..
Now that's resourceful.

VW EV motors on some EV models are junk, out of production,,, no new available. Owners are screwed. That's VW.

If it was further up the list we could go that route. Just finishing up the suspension on kids car now. He said he can wait on power and wants a stereo next. I'm sure audio equipment won't be in stock either unfortunately.

It's a good thing that Biden stopped all the tax exemptions that Trump put in place for the corporations to bring back manufacturing to the US, otherwise we'd be flush with so much product that we'd need extra shifts and people to work to meet the demand. The US economy needed a "break" from all that production and it all went to China and now they are raking us over the coals....

Let's Go Brandon!

Inventory must be improving the way I see the big box home improvement & costco appliance advertisements.

Is the header for a 96-00 Civic? I think the B20 can be a 1.6-2.0? If it is for that generation Civic I have them in stock. Shoot me a PM if so.

Contact DTR racing and he’ll make you a header.

Negative. Deck height is different between the two. Putting the 1.6 header on will smack the pan.

3 months. They need to call me if it’s longer than that. 😉
