Our oldest Daughter is coming back home for a few months after living in Boulder Colorado for a bit of time. She wants to be closer to family (and will eventually buy a place) and she works remote so no problem.

Anyway, her and I have been riding for well over 20 years and she of course is bringing her Husky with her.

I haven’t had a dirt bike for a while and want to start riding with her again. Although not the right season, I ended up buying a really clean 500 EXC-F from a guy on the North side of town yesterday. He’s into water sports so perhaps he’s an inmate here.

Not really a dirt bike per-sec however, it exceeded my expectations in every way. Lots of after market goodies as well. Already put some miles on it,

I have been kicking the idea around about getting a newer enduro. I have a XR650R that I have been riding for 20 years. The newer bikes handle so much better

Looks like fun

That looks clean, and it has a plate! There are some trails and stuff up here...not real local for you, but at least 20 degrees cooler for summer riding.

Cool bike, my dad had one. He modded/changed the ecu and he said it really woke the bike up. I rode it once, it was hard to keep the front wheel down.

That's a bad azz ride, congrats!

Does Scott's make a stabilizer for it? That will always be my first addition. 👍🏼

Don’t know if it’s a Scott’s but it’s got a decent stabilizer on it. Other cool stuff as well including a tuner, pipe, carbon fiber bits and $1500 worth of front suspension work. Also a brand new black desert tank and higher profile seat for taller riders.

its fairly powerful. Still getting use to it.

GPR's are good stabalizer's. Scotts does have a different feel but I wouldn't worry about it unless you are really used to it. Looks like it has all the goodies already on it, that's a good score.

My Dirt Bike that I keep in LA is a 21' 500 EXC-F.

She did phenomenal on a trip down in Baja a few years back. I usually take her out to Dove Springs, Jawbone, Randsburg, Parker etc.

Great Bikes!!

May see you out there. We hit Dove Springs, Jawbone, Randsburg, Cal. City and such a lot when we ride. Usually two night trips. Double bonus, we take our firearms and shoot at the back of Dove Springs in the Morning and ride in the Afternoon..

That's a really nice set up. Almost any stabilizer is better than no stabilizer.

I've been all over DS and that whole area. The road up to the survival cabin is just Beautiful this time of year. Purple and yellow wild flowers everywhere on the switch backs.

Your crew ever do Kennedy Meadows at all? It's a great place for summer time rides. I like it there better than Mammoth. 👍🏼

Bonus, you get to ride with your daughter. I’m local to Boulder too. Great riding here in CO, both enduro and MX, as you’ve probably heard.

My ride is a ‘19 KTM 250 SX. 2 stroke for the win😁. Nice ride you got, enjoy. It’s fun to get back into it after years off, did the same thing.

You bought a very capable dirt bike that so happens to have a plate. I’m guessing you’re going to love it, congratulations on your new scooter.
