This place has good reviews, and my son is soon to be buying a house in the area, so when I decided to impulse buy a Husky te300i yesterday I called to verify they had a couple recent arrivals in stock. Sales guy was fairly knowledgeable, and said there are "no deals whatsoever" other than list + fees which totaled around 13 grand. I said lets do it and gave CDL # , Az address, credit card #, and authorized the deposit. He had the parts guy call me later so I could order a steering stabilizer, skid plate, radiator braces, etc. This morning I'm waiting on an inspector and sales guy calls and says, " Very very sorry my friend, but the owner is going to cancel your sale. We never charged your card yesterday (which I didn't check because I assumed they did) . The owner has received interest from enough local Phoenix guys on these bikes , and won't sell it to you because you are currently showing Ca. residency and lic. " Then the parts guy calls a few minutes later giving me an update on lead times and availability on the parts .
Now don't get me wrong, I don't necessarily disagree with the policy in a general sense, but let me know up front motherfuckers so as not to waste my time. The irony is, I was born right by there and we used to live close by for years lol..... not that it should really matter. Needless to say, whoever owns this place can suck a dick, and may the supply chain get back to normal sooner than later so their competitors can eat into their profits. I just picked up a ktm 300 out the door for $10,500 this morning locally here in Cen Cal. but it isn't white....yet -
