I think the big have blown thier wad and the shoe is back on the other foot!
HB Ram is doing some pretty heavy discounting on the 2023 trucks. 73K msrp down to 56.6k
I drove by a Ford dealer and they were jammed up with trucks. Just a matter of time, short I think, till they start dropping prices as well

My next door neighbor is a Mercedes salesman. He said his numbers are 25% of 21.

But 20-21 were outliers imo.

I don’t blame these dealerships for making the money when they can, but now is the time for reckoning.

I welcome this change to the market . trucks were already expensive enough going into 2020 and they just went full retard since.

I almost ordered a 2024 F350 HO but decided to wait till 25.

Most people put minimum down payments……
Combined with a good credit score you get 7% interest, and not so good 9% or higher…

Yeah… $60K at 9% thats add up in a hurry.

Combine that with what the average consumer carry’s on credit card debt…

The stuff I see with some buyers and their financing I couldn’t sleep at night in their shoes

Tundras are still super scarce.

They also still do not have front tow hooks. Going to hold out for the 2025 announcement and if there still aren't tow hooks, I'll just buy a leftover 2024.

I sold cars for a few months back in 2018, the payment amount some people were getting was as much as my first house, and they were happy about it... Crazy!!!

I got an email from Penske saying $500 off MSRP on any car brand they sell....lol
Scottsdale Audi keeps sending me q7 & 8 trade in deals that get bigger every month. They appear to be offering incentives over price reductions.

Yeah, I can lemon law my 2022 Ram, but to buy another truck with a loan will actually cost me much more in the long run due to interest rates. If they drop the prices and I can get 0%, I would force the lemon law.

It's tough being a “wannabe baller” with interest rates at 9%.

I'm holding out for the OTD at MSRP.

On What? If not a specialty truck or 2024 3/4 1 ton diesel, it should be doable.
Granger in Iowa was 2% under invoice. Add some ford incentives and you’re about there

An SUV. Have it narrowed to a Lincoln Navigator black label. It would be 100% perfect if the dash was different and was similar to the Escalade's. But not one vehicle is perfect.

I'm a sucker who paid MSRP. I'm guessing the deals must be happening for certain models? Had a buddy get a new escalade a little over a month ago for MSRP, and that was considered a deal! lol ....... have one bro in law shopping for a Yukon currently and he's seeing 1k off, another bro in law got the denali truck 1500, and got 5k off which is the best I've heard, but he just got it (2023) and the 24's come out next month... also had some options that most don't want which is why I'm assuming they made a deal on it.

Once I start seeing 6-10K off, I'll start kicking myself lol

A couple of weeks ago we bought an Acura and they didn't budge that much off their advertised Internet price. 3.99 % thru Honda Finance, which was lower than our credit union at 5.25.

Supposedly the EPA is going to require DPF systems that last for three years instead of one for the MY 2025. That might drive the prices back up.

I'm glad I'm poor and don't have to worry about buying a new vehicle. Just can't imagine what it is like to spend that much on one car or truck, let alone dealing with monthly payments.
I couldn't imagine it either. If there isn't a financial return when spending that kind of money on a vehicle I'd rather buy a new Howard style 21' RC with inboard GM power instead but with a 2 axle trailer. By the time the truck would be paid off it will be out of style. A 21' RC will never go out of style.

Bought a VW Arteon, 3k off MSRP, no add ons, gave me more for my trade in than I thought it was worth and 4.9% financing through VW. It only took 30 minutes to convince them I'm not buying anything but the car. Only add on they didn't offer was a full time driver. Once that was settled, things moved quickly. First new car since 2004, things sure have changed. Have been buying year old CPO cars and will probably go back to that program.

After waiting this sellers market out for going on two years now, got tired of waiting and pulled the trigger too. Just couldn’t take it anymore, I WANTED a new car. Chiseled the same $3K off list and felt like I hit the jackpot. Pathetic. 10% off used to be the max we paid, remember?

Oh well, the rising tide lifts all boats, really can’t complain much. My guess is the market gets softer the longer one waits.

when I bought it, it was my dream truck. now i can’t wait for it to be gone.

Mustang GT500
Now we are talking .
I want one bad . But I’ll be either throw in jail or my class A license suspended.
Doing 150mph runs in the middle of the night on the 210.
So I know how I am . And I only drive trucks .

My buddy is number 16. I’m trying to make it in under three digits.

Going to be made by multimatic so total
Production is expected to be about double of the newer GT’s. ☹️
Good for your buddy - did I read they only plan for 300? Not sure?

They made almost 1400 GT’s. They think they will probably make more GTD’s but who knows.

Who would have thought people would be trying to get on a list to give 350k to Ford for a mustang. 😳

Anything people want is not really available despite hope. Good luck getting a new GT3 from Porsche anywhere near sticker even if you have bought multiple in the past.

Im still waiting for a new platinum 350 a year after ordering. ☹️

I can’t believe you stuck with the same brand but it’s the lessor of 3 evils
They all suck, i was gonna do f350 hd cclb. But ram gave me 15% off on a 23 if I was willing to give them another chance, the trans problem there is only 1 recorded 23 and it’s a 5500 with a 22 trans in it (on ram forums) I have to have a homie deal for repairs since I do 100k in 2 years and factory warranty gone. Extended warranty is useless since it would only cover another 25k miles or so. Buddy is ram diesel tech, so it makes sense. That and saved 15,000 off truck day 1.
