RG’s team designed a car for Arctic cat. Arctic cat promised to make cars and pay them royalties. Arctic Cat never made the cars they promised, and would not let RG/ Speed take designs elsewhere.

This is the entire reason Speed even exists.

Was this a 4 seater version, and or turbo to follow the XX ? Hard to imagine that Textron doesn't have a brighter legal team. Hard to imagine company that large would allow itself to get trapped in a contract that would bind them to build a car they didn't see as profitable.

All they did was win the lawsuit. They have yet to collect a dime. The case will either be negotiated down, or appealed. That all depends on ”how soon” they want cash in hand.

My wife just settled a case in which the plaintiff was awarded 48 million……. The plaintiff agreed to take an instant payment of 4 million, rather than go through the appeals process, and get “slow rolled” for 10 years.

The Textron and Artic Cat XX. We enjoy the hell out of our XX, as it's extremely comfortable with a great sightline. But we're not racers, or Glamis types either.

Yes, Yes and Yes. The contract would have netted Speed $30m.

It seems they inherited this mess from Arctic Cat.

Instead they tried to rebrand the car and sell them through Bass Pro.

They should have just paid Speed to go away.

Did we all say the same about depp/ heard. No people were intrigued about the money over shitting the bed. Just saying.
Could you imagine the publicity if an actor/actress just won 47 million. It just doesn’t fit the narrative or this would nation wide news.
Plus it really is all public record if you want to look.

Any chance you care to share where you found how many Wildcat XX have been produced ? I couldn't find anything ??
Not that I'm interested, but I've noticed more companies offering performance axles and other XX specific accessories that were previously absent.
