Anyone have experience with artificial lawns like Easy Turf or Synlawn? We are considering replacing our lawn and would like to get feedback from anyone who has first hand experience.

Thank You.

You have got to be kidding me!!!???? I'm in the wrong F*ckin Business! Your going to tell me that for 900Sqft of plastic grass, people are paying upwards of 18 Grand??? Stop the world, I want off.

For 18 grand, you could probably re-sod plus have someone take care of your REAL grass and make it look unf*cking believable for like 7 + years.

I'll check with them and find out how much it was. One thing, I just thought of, it doesn't have the cool (temp) feel of real grass, but the maintenance is definately less.

You can call me if you want, I can sell it through my work. 18k is retarded. Depending on where you are I can get it for you for about $2.25 + rubber (very cheap if wanted) NOT INSTALLED. I can have someone install it for you but that's more.

18k is Insane! I was looking at this stuff for a while and it was going between 9-11 sq ft for the higher qualify that actually looks like grass. Installed with the rubber pieces underneath to make it absorb better and feel real.

I had about 400 square feet done around my pool and for my dog run. I paid less then $3000 installed and that included removing my old grass. He gave me a really good deal.

Best thing I did around the pool, no more cut grass flying in the pool from the mower and it's looks freshly cut and dark green. I went with the mid-grade stuff.

Who did you use? I've had a few estimates done for around my pool as well and they were like $1800-$2400 depending on the quality of the grass.

Did you leave your sprinklers hooked up to help with the dog urine? One guy told me this was the perfect thing to do and another said it would make it turn white with calcium deposits and ruin the grass within a few years.

Thanks for all the replies I will be in touch with thise who posted contact info. The bid is now down to $14,000.

The only rubber he mentioned was the one he was ready to slip on had I fell for his crazy bid.
