Depending on the brand you might try City Maytag, not hearing good things about Daves anymore. I just went through this with a 10 year old LG refrigerator, there is good service in town, but was told over the phone that 10 years was double the normal run on the compressor and it was 800 to 1200 dollars and at least 6 weeks out, so I should probably not even pay the $95 service fee and just go buy a new one. A dishwasher door might be worth a fix.

I hear the same about Daves appliance, down the street, pretty hard to get repair in Havasu. My old go too was Affordable Appliance and Plumbing, but when I called a few weeks ago the owner said she had plumbers but no appliance repairmen. I did find Jeffs Restaurant repair for refrigeration, but I think he kind of sticks to that.

After spending 30k with city, and having them do faulty installs, faulty repairs etc... They don't care...and that the crux of their issue...wolf/subzero made it right by sending techs from Las Vegas..

I use Jeff now. Can't remember the business. I just put him in my phone as Jeff Fridge lol

I guess you've read all the posts, maybe City Maytag isn't the answer. Seems like we found a good refrigerator guy though.

I had the same problem.

I went to Home Depot, bought a new one, and installed it.

Since I live in Farmersville, I hauled the old one out beside the pond and left it there. It's now my shootin' appliance.

Country living is awesome.

Yep. Just changed out the entire motor assembly on my dishwasher last weekend while watching YouTube.
