Seller's Description

This is a shell, no motor, no out drives, or gages. No trailer. Has current registration and title in hand. Lots of potential and lots of work.

So sad. Someone upgraded it to a playpen setup at some point. Wish I had the room. A couple of blown LS's with #6's would make it modern and epic!

Probably cost ya 100k to build it right, but you'd have one hell of a sleeper! ;) Unique as well. Only 48 were built.

Looks like it would make a cool classic. I bet it spent its entire life inside, with the best of care. Then a new owner takes over, and parks it outside in the sun and weather for 6 months. Batteries go dead, tires go flat.

But how does it get to this point, where it's striped, with out a trailer?

The hardest part putting this boat back together, is finding a garage/Building to store it, while collecting parts to put it back together. I think a frugal individual with access to boat salvage parts could have fun.

I'm the original owner of my 1985 Eliminator. Having a place to store it inside, has turned out to be worth every penny. I still needed to replace the interior once in 2005, but it's running on the original mercuriser engine and drive, along with a few touch-ups on the gel coat to maintain scratches. I could easily rock this if I didn't already have a classic.

It is one of the sleekest hulls from the days it was designed by Bailey. If I lived close, would be tempted to grab it and do a transformation, swapping my 6.2's from my Mirage. Biggest thing would filling the transom for new cut outs and maybe new stringers. I'm surprised no one jumped on it yet. Dave should get it and do a total ressurection, followed by thread on the progress.;)

That would be an awesome thread. Then raffle it off for local charity.

I’m pretty sure someone on here has the mold for that boat. Since you’re going to need and unlimited budget to fix it up anyways, you’d be better off starting fresh.

If someone was going to spend a fortune to rebuild a 30 plus ft boat, just go find an old Cig to restore. That way you would actually have a market if ya ever wanted to sell it. That Spectra needs to go to the dump.

I think @Racey still has the mold. His dad built some 32's

My dad gave the molds to Greg Foster (rip) they are still down in Parker, Foster Sr would know where they are.

I had no intention of building one so it was a decision that was easy to make as they take up a lot of room.

I have a pristine 1984 32' that i never use because i spend too much time playing in the shop 🤣
