Oncologist often recommend weed to chemo patients. Good for you and best of luck with recoveryThis hits close to home.
I lost my mom and her parents to smoking.
More recently a good friend has had one lung removed and now his wife is stuck in bed on oxygen, all smoking related illnesses.
That said I have turned into a bit of a Stoner after my chemo treatments because of stomach upset, one hit on the electronic marvel and it's sleepy time for me.
Nobody gets out of this alive.
If you were in Vegas it's hard not to smell the weed as well. It blows me away the amount of people walking along smoking a blunt.Good for you!
Cigarettes are filthy and stinky. Prove me wrong.
When I was in Vegas last week, I was sitting on a bench next to an outdoor seating area for a restaurant. I was talking to my daughter on the phone and all of a sudden, I'm smelling cigarette smoke. Really strong. I turn to my left, and there is a couple standing two feet away from me smoking. Like I'm sitting on the park bench, and they are both standing in front of the bench next to me. Seriously? I moved to the edge of the bench, but couldn't get away. I may have said something like "WTF?" to my daughter, gave the smokers a dirty look to match their dirty habit, and got up and walked 20 feet away. The woman noticed and went back into the patio dining area. The dude waited another minute or so and then went back to the patio. I went back to sit on the bench, and there were two cigarette butts on the ground. Pigs.
I have no willpower, so I'm thankful I never tried smoking (I can't even quit chocolate), so I do feel compassion for those of you hopelessly addicted and allowing the tobacco companies to control when you wake, take a break, and go outside (even in crappy weather). My mother-in-law has to go outside and stand in the freezing cold, all by herself, every 30 minutes or so. Just her and her cigarette. The tobacco companies command her to do that, and she complies. It must suck, and I'm glad I don't smoke.
That being said, I cannot believe anyone still smokes with all of the help out there, and I REALLY can't believe young people smoke, including vaping. They know how it ends.
But vaping is still better than tobacco. More addictive, I hear, but less stinky. No butts to dispose of.
I bought these today, l like a lot. Thanks!
