Lasted longer than mine.
I had medial meniscus tear and three surgeries later in 3 years at the ripe old age of 21 ....on one knee ....

Atleast I am not as old as you though. Lol

15 mg Meloxicam once a day will fix you right up, until it doesn’t.

I stayed at the Motel 6 :D

That's what my knees looked like. 6 Synvisc injections didn't do a thing. At the ripe age of 54, I had to get both knees replaced. I'm sorry I did. Pain is still there, on pain pills the rest of my life. I set off every metal detector known to man. Going thru TSA at an airport, I'm always manhandled to the point I thought Grads got a new job. Bottom line, avoid it at all costs.

Your decubitus avuncular looks to be 3 centimeters off the hemolysis ablative ligament with marcrocephalic ablation. Should be fine next week :D

Me too, except I was 52. Prior to replacement, and starting when I was 17, I have had 6 arthrotomies and over 20 arthroscopic surgeries on both knees. It's been a friggin' nightmare. I had to quit working at 54, and the pain is relentless. Fentanyl and oxy for me.

Years ago, when you tore your meniscus, they would go in and grind the surface smooth, and you were up and running. I had 4-5 of these procedures, THEN they say you are bone on bone, and need new knees. Well, duh!

Fortunately, these days doctors avoid grinding the meniscus to retain the cushion.

Anyone have a partial knee replacement? I’m having my ACL done and partial replacement on the inside of my left knee on August 26.

Im gonna find out what my options are on Monday.
My Doc had an MRI done to make sure how bad my knee was. Luckily it was not as bad as he thought so we are going with a partial replacement. He wanted to do ACL first and then later do the partial. I told him it's all now or I might not come back lol. Had I needed a full replacement I would have waited.

looks like that wweld joint has slag and debris in it. need to clear it out with a grinder and start over. I suggest 7018 1/8" rod this time and use a suitable
heats range for better penetration.
remember, the devil is in the X-ray details.! don't F up next time.

Just remember this, the knee doesnt move in any direction, other than forward and back.
The shoulder moves on multiple directions.

Most knee operations are very sucessful. Shoulder not so much.

One of the many reasons I like to sit on my ass and drink a shit load of whiskey. It keeps my crippled body just broke enough to survive but too poor to buy stupid shit that will end me at a moments notice.:D
