Great day. On the warm side and not enough wind but way better than being cold. Our guests are leaving in the morning. Gonna get one more day in of riding. Maybe even hit the water🤔

Looked like a great day for a ride. Gen sent me photos of the channel. Looked like a great on the water as well. 2 more weeks. LOL

We launched at 11am, no water flow. Shut it down. Impeller roasted. Which is “coincidental” because it was getting fuel and carb work at a shop this week and my impeller was newish. Dry fires? I dunno. I guess shit happens.

Spent the next three hours swapping impeller , the easy part. Hard part was backflushing the intercooler and all the water lines getting chunks out. Took forever.

Back on the water at 4:30pm. Saw @Todd Mohr and @Jefftowz and fam. Always a great time. Got one run in around the island.

Sometimes this is how a boat trip pans out.

Obviously this wasn’t great, but overall how do you like that boat? Sure seemed like a lot of boat/power/looks for the $!

It’s been a love-hate relationship so far to be honest. Lol I mean I truly love the boat, people stop me everywhere to talk about it. Tons of thumbs ups etc.

I think the main problem is that the previous owner ran out of money and a lot of things got deferred so I’ve been chasing tiny gremlins every trip. Trips are few and far between for me having a toddler so that’s where a lot of the frustration comes from.

It’s not like I didn’t know what I was getting into but I wish I would’ve done a little bit more due diligence.

Saw a new Can-Am and 2 Speeds together driving on the 95 earlier today. Would love to hear how they compare.

Always takes couple trips to make it right.

Shit I didn’t look closey I thought it was a pro r wheels and tire lol. For the wheel they are screwed. Tires there seems to be some out now

It's par for the course that you have to replace the stock wheels tires on these, but I'd love to know why they went with 16" stuff on the higher end models.

Sure beats me. 15” seemed good. Plenty of wheel/tire option

you running 33's or 35's on the dmax these days. I put 35's on mine and just keep trimming more :(

thats a mean looking combo
35x12.5x17. It rubs full lock if I bomb a driveway. Would like to lower it a bit more. Bought 2” lift blocks for the rear and currently on 3”.

I’m working on that now but there’s not much available

I didn't know you bought a Speed car 😂

ZRP has 15X5.5 wheels for $750/wheel. $850 if you want a color. Oof.

The base car 15" wheels are $190. But you can't put taller tires on them, they will rub the uprights even worse.

I cant imagine not having a spare on an off road car. Seems they would be able to be purchased from the dealer.

Not on the brand new releases that aren’t 4 lug. When I purchased my Turbo R last year, all of the available wheels (stock and aftermarket) as well as factory tires were on back order nationwide. The dealer had a stock take off from a new build that they were able to sell me, but that was luck. A 6-lug 16” would be even harder (impossible) to find. Automotive wheels might be available in the right bolt pattern, but not in SXS friendly offsets and widths.

This.

Brand new car, only a few hundred out in the wild, there are not going to be any parts for awhile. I don't care what brand it is.

Nice,

Ya mine is an 07 classic. I’m cranked up front and stock out back.

I’m going to try it crank a bit more. I’m mainly rubbing the inner fender well, and at the arm at lock.

Oh I have the fabtech 6” lift kit up front. So my spindles stick out a little further. Mine is cranked all the way down so it rides nice.
