I heard Havasu had a twin float plane used to train pilots in twin engine float plane operations. I assumed it was a twin otter on floats. That's a Beriev Be-103. It's an interesting aircraft. I'm surprised that it's powered by two American made Continental IO-360 engines. It was awarded an FAA type certificate in 2003, making it legal for importation into the US.
The Beriev Be-103 (in English sometimes called "Snipe") is an amphibious seaplane designed by the Beriev and constructed by the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Production Association (KnAAPO) in Russia.
Intended for autonomous operation in the unmarked areas of Russia's far north and Siberia, the Be-103 was designed for short-haul routes in regions that have rivers, lakes and streams, but are otherwise inaccessible.

Empty weight: 1,730 kg (3,810 lb)
Gross weight: 2,283 kg (5,033 lb)
Max takeoff weight: 2,270 kg (5,011 lb)
Fuel capacity: 340 litres (90 US gal)
Powerplant: 2 × Continental IO-360-ES4 fuel-injected Horizontally flat engines, 157 kW (210 hp) each

No nothing new . The 28SS is still the King in my stable. It’s really hard to find an all-around improvement from that boat. It just works so well!@Bullhead bully its so nice to see you posting I thought you left us. Did you buy any boats after the center console you shared with us?
