I'm looking for a trailer big enough to sleep 6 for a 5 day fishing trip up to Bishop. I need it from Sunday night 5/31 to 6/5. I have a truck more than up to the task, I'm responsible, have insurance and I take care of things. I had a 26' toyhauler but sold it because I only used once or twice year. PM me if you'd be interested. Rented from El Monte RV before but they don't seem to have what I want that weekend.

Check out www.budgetrvrentals.org
My neighbor had started this and now his inlaws run it. More basic type stuff but the prices are reflected. They started out of the house so I use to see the stuff all the time. Seem to be a good deal.

On another note... I'm renting a condo in Mammoth that weekend and going to murder a bunch of fish too. Going to take some firearms and have fun too. My brother is in the industry that sells all your departments and SWAT teams the good stuff so I'm hoping something good comes along. If not that might be the first time I get to live fire my new Long Beach Operator.

Have you looked at Sierra vacation trailer rentals? Was camped next one up in Rock Creek last year, seemed like a nice setup.

What's the info on that? He have a site or anything?

Looking to dump our Havasu house and trade trailer for RV and make our river trips in RV or rent house and do more camping etc. Might be a good idea to off trailer now if there is a good transition plan.

Try adventureincamping.com and/or sierravacationtrailerrentals.com

Both companies service the Bishop to Mammoth Lake areas and they will tow and set up at your campground of choice for like $75 or I think you can just go and pick it up from them as well. Saves you the hassle of towing up the 395.

I'll be fishing the Rock Creek and Lake June 10-15th with my 6 year old son and 86 year young grandfather.

Love rock creek. Trying mammoth this year as we are staying in a condo for the weekend. Not towing my trailer just for the weekend and my dad and brother wouldn't last. And condo was cheaper than clapped out cabin we stayed at last year in rock creek.

Love rock creek.

Going off your advice you pm'd me last year and fishing your "honey hole" at French's Camp (where we are camping). :D. I might have to hit you up to see where you caught fish if Rock Creek doesn't pan out. :cool

Rock creek goes through that camp. You should be fine. Can't remember if I PM'd you any tips. If not then let me know and I'll spill the beans. Not only on locations but if you want my techniques. You can drive up in the canyon for other spots etc which I can tell you about but I catch a bunch in that camp and the beauty of it is since you are staying there you just walk over take out a few from your favorite spot you find or hop up and down the creek and after you have cleaned out or you or someone spooks them you go back to camp play some games, have a cold one and then go back and get some more.

I'm hoping to find some good spots in Mammoth. I'm sure there is but on a short trip I prefer to go where I know. But the place we are staying since not camping is in Mammoth. Hope to find a new honey hole and if not we'll take a drive down to French Camp.

My 8 year old did good on opening day, and all together we had a fantastic week of Fishing...I will post up some pics tomorrow... wedge

Yes use adventure in camping or sierra RV rental, the trailers are locally parked and ready to go, they even make emergency calls on any repairs needed...
