We drove the truck in from sand highway to meet up with everyone. Looked like a dirt bike right on that last little roller before it gets flat. We didn't stop since there was so many cops there. Shortly after the helicopter arrived, never a good sign.

They definitely have been stepping up their game the last few years. People used to ride into the dunes to out run them, not so easy today.

Did glamis a couple years ago on gecko. If you can get a spot there it’s not too bad imo. This year we are going back to our normal dove springs area.

Nice thing about glamis is you can hang around the riff raf and watch people break stuff or go on a ride and not see anyone.

I honestly have never had a good time in glamis.. the only reason I ever go is because my friends go.. I have fun with them but dislike the location.

Granted everytime we are packed in like sardines with thug life surrounding us etc.. maybe if we did some other program it would be different.

Im going to the dunes over Thanksgiving but on popular weekends i stay way away from glamis. I go to there when the circus isnt in town. Mainly because i like to get my rest. If anyone is thinking about camping on the south end or crusin down that way lemme know it would be fun to meetup.

For actual desert tromping I'd way rather be here.. and I'm bummed I'm gonna miss the Sundance Outlaw deal as well as the races, and our annual trip to the Desert Bar not he most crowded day of the year.. LOL (It's a pain in the ass, but it's tradition). We are gonna try something new.. I flipping hate Glamis with a passion, but I'll have fun hanging out with Robert and Heater, and William and Wendi, and the Blakes, and the other 9 rigs that are going with us.. LOL
