Like the title says, any inmates headed to the circus in Scottsdale this week?

I can't make it and I have a possible interest in a couple of '67 Chevelle convertibles. I am pretty sure they will exceed my budget but given the current toy market there might just be a workable deal to be had even with the 12% buyers fee.

Awesome! Here's what i'm looking at (both are 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle convertible's)

Lot 842.1 located in tent 3B-8, metallic red, tan interior, LS swap. Give me your impressions of overall build quality. Auction pics don't include any with the top up, what color is it? Door gaps look bad in pics, are they? Is the hood fiberglas? On the block Thursday.

Lot 1017 located in East Show Case NW-3, metallic blue, black top, black interior. Reported to be a full frame off restoration, not sure when though. Just looking for your impressions of the restoration and quality of the build. On the block Friday.

Lot 1297 located in West Showcase SW-22, white, black interior, black top. Definitely the nicest of the 3 and likely way out of my budget, but if you have the time take a look. Based on the description this is the the cream of the crop, recent build, looks to be high quality. Give me your impressions on the fit, finish and overall execution. Hits the block on Saturday.

I really appreciate your help here, it's making me little crazy to not be there but, well, life happens. I have been on the hunt for a '67 vert for almost a year now, they are surprisingly hard to find. Having these 3 plus a couple of others in the same place on the west coast is rare. So again many thanks. Feel free to post up your findings here, it's not boating content but what the hell.

If we ever cross paths I owe you a cold adult beverage or three.

If its a Saturday car its going to be expensive 😁
For sure. But that looks like the vendor area. Staging areas are generally just out there on the asphalt unless it’s one of the very special cars in the vendor tents.

Great ideaR…..Makes it easier for buyers like @lenmann to have the undercarriage checked out. 😲

how unfortunate. I was going to buy a rack at SEMA to stack things in our garage. Might have to rethink or add bracing.

I would think they didn’t have it properly bolted into the ground. Generally those areas wouldn’t allow penetration into the asphalt.
