GD was my absolute go to for my time wasted daily. But once they changed the format i got fed up after a few days and haven’t been back hardly at all. The format was just not what i was used to and well things there started to suck. However at least there’s no admitted LibTards over there.

For some reason I only use the classifieds in there. Definitely not as easy to use as rdp!! To me it seems like most of the content on there is old!!

Seeing your avatar made me wonder, has anyone ever put a rotary in a sandcar? That would be a fun project.

Yea it has been done. I have no idea why you’d want to. An LS weighs just slightly more than turbo rotary and gets much better gas mileage on cheaper fuel.

Going to gleams in the sxs is starting to get a bit boring especially after watching the long travel cars zip around the dunes.

I would like to keep the sxs for desert riding and for the wife in the dunes and am looking at getting a sand car for next season. While in the dunes this past weekend I spoke to a group of FUNCO owners that had turbo subi engines in their rigs and they said nothing but positive things about the brand.

The guys with the v8 long travel cars had completely differing opinions on the matter and swear by the LS type engines.

Any sand car guys on here that have an opinion?

I dont have a crazy budget (45k max) and dont need to be the fastest guy at the drags or up the hill. I just want a fun car that will start each time I head out to the sand.

I know these are going to cost more in maintenance than a sxs and dont have a problem with that.

what say y'all?

What SxS do you have currently?
