Good...saves me from convincing the wife I need another 25yr old bmx bike that costs 3x what it costs new to hang up and look at. :)

Building a new school cruiser now....Intense Podium Pro Cruiser...should be cool...just collecting parts here and there I come across..

Hahaha!i know how you feel. When I was heavy into buying this stuff my wife would just roll her eyes. :D

i only have the 19" Patterson 20" PK, 19" redline and the 24" Profile left.

Think I'm done building and collecting although Ive seriously considered buying one of the new SE Racing Floval Flyers.

Here is a nice one....not sure what his reserve but send him and email....and see what else he has sold lately. Three types of vintage bmx folks...those that don't know what they are selling, those that build and flip and try and make a little, and those that need money....these days more people need money.

I grew up in the S.F.V. right down the way from old Yarnell BMX track, back in the days of John Palfreman (sp), Stompin Stu, Clinton, etc..back when sidecar bikes were the shit, my next door neighbor Craig Van Cleve had one of the first ever Yamaha Moto Bikes in the USA, his pops worked for Motorcyclist magazine, we did the L.A. Coliseum Bmx, that was so cool, I hear Craig is still doing some kind of Vet Downhill Racing out of Las Vegas, dude was a natural on a bike or motorcycle. A gal that we knew from the valley was pretty good herself, Cheryl Tranbarger(sp).
Those were awesome days when the original Mongoose with motomags came out.:thumbsup:D

My dad bought this Webco for me back around '74. I raced it for a few years when we lived in West Covina.
Well, 28 years later my daughter sees it hanging in the garage and asks "Can I have THAT bike!". That's all I needed to hear, it was on. Unfortunately, it was only the frame , forks and stem left. I started buying oldschool stuff for it off ebay, although I did cheap out on a few thing and bought new stuff. Well, the bike gets done and my daughter rides it 2 or 3 times and decides she likes her pink beach cruiser better. Oh well, I would have never done anything to it otherwise. Now I need to find some Webco mags for it:D.

I got a copy of that on DVD as well... I used to rent this movie every weekend and watch it 4 or 5 times. Raced BMX on a stingray for 5 years...

Dude, if no one has said it already......... Do a search on Skyway mags. Should be able to find them for around $80. I know I did last time I was looking. 16" and 24" too I believe.

I grew up on Rad and BMX Bandits. But the early 90's was the era when BMX was my life. Orange Y, Sheep Hills, and Dover.

Here's my 24" S&M Widowmaker. It's Dee Snider's pro model from when he raced cruiser class. S&M made less than 100 of em, I think there's only a dozen known to be around now.

I just started gathering up parts a couple months ago to restore my Diamond Back "Harry Leary" Turbo. Its getting expensive quick but I keep telling myself it will be worth it.
