Any Nordic built Hallett 285 Pics/reviews?

Since the 270 thread was resurrected, I am curious if anyone on here has had a 285 built by Nordic and would care to share pics and their thoughts?

I have an attraction to that model as it makes some real sense for the family’ish boating and entertaining we do and am curious about anything people can share about it.

I know they fixed a tooling blend that used to drive me nuts when the original Hallett had it.

Well you have all been waiting for it, here it is the first Hallett build under Nordics roof. This will be a very detailed thread im going walk you through the whole process so bare with me. Hallett 285 party cruiser. stay tuned.

Only one has been built by Nordic.

Actually we have built 3 to date. The Hallett and the Nordic are built the same way now. I'm actually surprised we haven't built more of them. The Hallett is actually a bit faster than the Nordic because of the shallow tunnel and the lesser deadrise but the Nordic will eat up any rough water you throw at it but that's what it was designed to do.

I think custom is like hamburger meat, you can have all you can afford.

We've done a bunch of Nordics with outboards. Nobody has ever asked for a Hallett with outboards. Can we do it???? Absolutely! Probably be a badass boat!!!

@Nordic John didnt mean any disrespect. Was just sayin would be nice to see one with outboards. As I really like this boat! Have seen the Nordic decks with outboards they are awesome as well. Just one of thos haven’t seen it but I bet it would be sick kind of things!
