We are at the beyond hope campground on Pend right now.. the pontoon boats only have a 50 on them so I don’t think we’d see much. :/.

Should hooked the Hallet behind the Toad.
Thats exactly how it is on my lake.Once you get out of SoCal, AZ and FL, most folks use a pontoon to relax and booze cruise dock to dock.
The pontoon we had at the family cabin had a 25hp on it. Happy hour started at 5 and usually took 3-4 hours before we returned home after all the stops
Dave Josh goshen and Billy goshen should be out there on pend. @JLG614View attachment 1404939 View attachment 1404940 View attachment 1404941 Looking to thumb a boat ride on either or both lakes to check them out!

It really is a beautiful lake as long as you keep your eye out for floating logs lol. So many of us think havasu is great until you experience some of these other lakes the U.S. has to offer. Although the water is to cold for me no matter what time of it is. We go up for a week every summer. My wife’s grandparents have a house on Pend. If you haven’t been I encourage everyone to go. Here are some pics from our trip last week.If all goes well, I'll be there in a few days.
But just in case you don't catch a ride, here is the vid I made last summer.
What’s better? Pend or CDL?It really is a beautiful lake as long as you keep your eye out for floating logs lol. Never been on CDL I hear it’s much busier boats etc. Pend is way more relaxing and there is quite a few destinations and things to see by boat. What’s better? Pend or CDL?
I believe the Legend of the Monarchs run is tomorrow.

I have spent a bunch of time on both. We choose Pend Oreille for our home for a bunch of reasons. Bigger lake, more to do, really great water quality, plenty of dining, and things to do. But downside of Pend vs CDA is 8 months a year Pend in drawn down 11 feet and virtually every dock is unusable. CDA has a longer season, if the weather is good. What’s better? Pend or CDL?
When snow season start, like next week isn't it!?

We ate dinner there last night.
I’d show you the lakes but I broke a drive coupler yesterday. Having to bum a seat for tomorrows run myself.

As far as rides, we are up for the weekend and have been bopping around, hit the sandbar and Sandpoint this afternoon and are doing the fun run tomorrow. A tour could be arranged. We also have RV parking at the house with water and power hookups, north on Kootenai Bay View attachment 1405060
Dave took a bunch, I was pretty busy as somehow I ended up wrangling the event.Awesome!!! More pics!!
There is a performance boat shop in Spokane Valley. I personally did not have a great experience with their work on my BBC. I think for drives and Mercury product they would be fine. But it seems like good mechanics are hard to find anywhere.Since there seems to be some serious hardware up there, are there capable mechanics shops up there to deal with maintenance on the variety of performance engines and drives?

Not a ton to share. It's a one off, all aluminum hull. 28 feet long, designed by outlaw out of Canada and built in Spokane in 2005. Been through a lot of different configurations over the years, but right now it has a Merlin 588 and American turbine SD-12 pump.Share info on boat and more pics?

Very cool boat! Love the lines.
Is it aluminum because of floating debris in the lakes there? Or was it done for weight?
I was on a flight from Seattle to Anchorage and sat next to the owners of Woolridge Boats (3rd and 4th generation Father and Son) they had nothing but good to say about Outlaw Eagle. I like when a builder doesn't trash other builders.Outlaw Eagle builds aluminum jet boats and comes from a whitewater racing background. They have some badass whitewater boats.

I can’t find that 28’ on their site. Is it a custom one off?Outlaw Eagle builds aluminum jet boats and comes from a whitewater racing background. They have some badass whitewater boats.

Awesome!!! More pics!!
One of. It was manufactured for Innovate, as the 000 (triple aught). As far as I can tell it was the only boat ever made by that company. Has a full step hull, is actually quite lightweight. Was also originally configured with an inboard stern drive.I can’t find that 28’ on their site. Is it a custom one off?
It does have great line for sure. Around here, early season there is a lot of log debris in the lakes a rivers. It great not to have to worry about dinging something, and I can beach it nice and hard on rocky beaches.Very cool boat! Love the lines.
