Any Masters fans?

My son got to go this year. He flew in on Sunday and is enjoying it so far. Practice rounds then the par 3 event then the weekend. Great week for him.

So seriously jelly right now! Bucket list dealio for me.

So the other day I saw something about the Azalea Cocktail online. I decided I had to make one so looked it up:

-Ice
-1.25 oz vodka
-5 oz lemonade
-0.5 oz grenadine
-Cherry and lemon wheel garnish

Turns out this is kinda my go to when it's hot outside. I even carry a little jug in the ice chest on the boat for sunset. Awesome!

Huge Masters fan. Got to go a couple years when we lived in Atlanta. Incredible experience. The elevation changes and condition of the course are shocking.

A good friend of mine is on the Tiger Woods foundation board. They have three houses in Agusta that they keep for board members and donors. They basically have the best possible set up / all inclusive drinks and meals at Beckmans Place (5 restaurants that are only open one week a year onsite).

Every once and while he has a conflict and can't go himself - this year he gave the tickets to his son and he invited my son to go with him.

They seem to be having fun!

I got to go in 2014. Had tickets for Saturday and Sunday. There is no other event ran better. The concessions, souvenirs, bathrooms, respectful "Patrons", etc. is all as efficient as you can imagine. All beers old in souvenir cups so nobody throws trash on the ground. Absolutely a bucket list item for anyone with even a remote interest.
They have so much more to do now, and Berckman's place is an adult golf fans playground like no other. Wish it was there when I went.

So cool your son got to go for the whole week, that is rare. I hope to make it back some day. What an experience.
