Any drummers here on RPD?

This is a good friend of mine. Mike Lewis, a drummer with O.C.'s number one cover band, The Trip. He actually uses every piece in his set. Great drummer and super nice guy. They've played at our place a few times and they're always a huge hit. If you ever need a band for whatever reason, you gotta give these guys a chance. You won't be sorry.

Started playing in elementary school and played all through college and beyond. I haven't played much in that past few years. Both my sons are musical and I have been teaching my youngest to play. He really doesn't need much teaching. Thankfully.

I have a kit that I bang on once in awhile. Santa brought it a couple of years ago for my youngest. The weiner doesn't even touch them, even though he wanted them so bad. I do need to finish up the pool house where they are set up though. Maybe he will then.

I'm so old that I've had Slingerland, Rogers, Gretch, Sonar, Tama and now my son, who is far better than I ever was has a brand new complete rack of Mapex that cost more than most vehicles I've owned.

Yes, been playing since Jr. High. Dont play much anymore unless im with my best friend and weve had about 90 cocktails. Then it usually turns into a jam session of mass proportions. My buddy just got an electronic set that is very cool, small, compact and lots of different sound settings.

I started taking lessons at the age of 38 (two years ago). Got super busy and had to stop the lessons, but I still play all the time. Both those bands posted rocked it pretty hard.
