Stacy has some weird vibe about going this year so we literally just cancelled our rooms yesterday. We are still going to do a Florida trip this winter, we just aren’t doing key west. Not sure what dates we are going

Yeah I know... But We got a ton of stuff going on right now with RDP etc.. and Key West as you know is 5-7K to go bewteen hotels / fuel / slip / food / BOOZE.. LOL

Frank! Last minute man! Last I heard the Waldorf had rooms. Place is nice, we stayed there a few years ago. Get a flight into Key West on Thursday. Thursday night is the Offshoreonly/Speed on the Water party at "The Sandbar" bar and grille, Friday night is the huge street party with all the race boats lined up on Duvall. Saturday during the day is the run with all the boats out to the Sandbar. Plus racing all week except Saturday. Make it happen man!

while a boat is great and the run down is a must do at least once in your life, you really don't need a boat once you're there. Just get down there. You won't regret it. PLus, AJ is bringing his boat

We are leaving this Friday and staying in Lauderdale till Monday.Then we are heading down to Key Largo for a couple days and off to Key West till 11/14 ..Hope the weather dries up but who cares it’s KEY WEST......

Yea, this time of year you get some tropical rain. But it's never been so bad that it affected the trips too badly. One year we left the boat and rented the car because of a storm. Another year we (dan / h2otoie and I) ran back in light ran that SUCKED!! The saying down there is something like, "you don't like the rain? Wait 10 minutes" lol

its not bad, 6am out of lax to atlanta, atlanta to key west and arrive at 4:45 way quicker than flying into miami and driving to KW
