Caught my math teacher with a friend of mine way out of our town, that was super uncomfortable for him, aint no way to explain that away.
Never liked the guy, described him as greasy. He was the teacher everyone said was cool but I couldn't rectify even in my 9th grade brain why he wanted to be one of us, made sense later.
I got a good grade without trying.

when i was in jr high at patrick henry in the san fernando valley about 1966 word was that a male english teacher ( dont remember his name) was takeing out one of his students with the parents approval, when she went to high school (granada hills high) he transfered there ....... word was he married her after she graduated there, had a hot math teacher in high school a couple of guys in the class made some remarks and she shut them down.... guess she didnt swing that way.....ran accross her a couple of years after i graduated and hot she was no longer....went down hill fast!

Heck, my Dad was an adult and my Mom was the Sheriff's daughter who was 2 years from being one when I was born. You can imagine the scandal back then. Nowadays, my Dad would've been thrown in prison and Mom would've been forced (more than likely) to have an abortion.

What you are saying is absolutely correct- it's wrong on many level's. I think most of us are looking at it from the perspective of if we were the boy in high school with a good looking female teacher that made a sexual advance, the vast majority of us would have taken her up on the offer.

I prefer to keep things light hearted. I come here mostly for fun and to share info and stories with like minded peeps.

I had a buddy in high school who was banging our English teacher, who was super hot, for two years. Only a couple of us knew about it. We didn’t think he was being “abused”, we thought he was the luckiest guy in the world.

Is there a scenario where the adult wouldn't be prosecuted for this? Is this a statutory rape case or a child moleststion case? Is there a difference? Age of consent varies by state. Most states are 18 but some are 16/17 with I think one being as low as 14. Some have conditions of age gap attached as well. Prosecution if a family refuses to press charges is mostly dependant on the DA who has jurisdiction. In basic terms, there is no one size fits all answer. However an inappropriate relationship with a student by a staff member of any k-12 school I've ever heard of is grounds for immediate termination regardless of legality; even if the student is a consenting 18yr old adult. There are always places in the world where the rules that might be considered to be in the grey may be less strictly enforced.

For those reading this thread, yeah, things were a little wild at Eldorado. Illustrated by the following scandals, you can see why our school was considered out of control compared to the other high schools in town. A few days ago, I posted about my friends Gavin Maloof and Tom Johnson selling keg beer in red Solo cups from the back of a van in the school parking lot. Around that same time, there was also a recent graduate selling lids from an ice cream truck.

Silverberg became the wrestling head coach when I was a senior, after Dan Jones resigned and moved his family away. His wife was caught smoking pot and drinking with wrestlers Anthony Straquadine and Dan Millican.

This happened about a week after 4A state champion Mark Haury was suspended for lighting up a joint on the team bus when we were heading back to Albuquerque after a match in Artesia. He was a couple of seats away from me, and I couldn't believe he was that stupid. The smoke spread throughout the bus in seconds.
