Thanks for checking up. SIL is getting better by the day. He was able to leave the house this week and go see Christmas lights with his family. Only needs Oxygen occasionally. Still cant work. Looking into bankruptcy to keep their house and try to figure out how to cover the bills.

If you had no issues from shot 1, you won’t from #2 or a booster either in all likelihood. The shot seems to mimic the virus. Jacks some and not others. For what it’s worth, my family of 5 including a teen and an under 10 all got the full jab regiment. Only the wife gets knocked down from it. The rest of us, like nothing happened.
I struggled with getting my shot last week, almost didn't. I have a friend of mine I have known for 30 years and he told me to not beat myself up, you have to do what you have to do to take care of family and responsibilities. I am very angry about getting it, I will not get another, but I am trying to deal with the fact some of us have to do what we have to do.
I don't believe I gave into the scam, I've survived covid, have verified antibodies all year and if you search my comments you will see my stance. I am however not solvent enough to say fuck you I'm not getting a shot. If you saw my shot record from 20 years in the Marines you may question why I'm so against it, well, I'm not in the Marines anymore and I served to not support the bullshit going on in MY country today. I chose the the J&J not because it has a good response but because it is not mNRA and is a one and done. I would have loved to have pushed the system into unemployment but I have responsibilities. If the china virus takes me, my insurance settles things, if not, I have several people that count on me.
My post wasn't necessarily target at you. I have seen your previous posts and know your stance. It sucks that your employer put you in the position to have to choose. My post was really intended as a rant and for others to think about the possible consequences of getting the jab. Most are bending to the employer and I completely understand that feeling of being back into a corner. But there are thousands now that have given in that are now injured and can't work to provide for themselves and their families. It's a roll of the dice that can prevent you from providing either way. You made the best choice with J&J and I hope that satisfies your employer and that you aren't required to get jabbed again. As American's we as a society need to come together and just say NO to this tyranny. Sadly their plan to divide us has worked perfectly and getting society to come together as one is borderline impossible now.

You have good view into this, have have you seen a lot of issues with little kids ? I'm just curious as most on the " pro side " agree this shot does not stop transmission but does prevent serious illness. I have a few friends on the medical side, a physician and a few RN's who will not have thier little ones vaxxed for this reason however they are all vaxxed themselves.
To jump in here as someone who has been front line on this deal from day one… no fucking way will any of my 3 kids get this shot, especially my daughter. I’d like her to be able to have kids in the future, and with how this shot has affected my wife, no way is my daughter getting near it. My kids are all healthy and have had covid. Why subject your kids to a “vaccine” and its side effects for something that has zero mortality rate in healthy kids???
I don’t work with Peds, but have colleagues that do. Chances of kids getting severely Ill are less than adults- but it does happen. I have stories from RT’s working in Peds units full of intubated kids.

Totally agree. You also. We all try to do what we think is best for our kids. Sometimes we look back and think… nailed it. Other times… not so much. In this case, either answer may be right or wrong, or both. Rough situation.
Reading your posts, if you have been in it as you say, you would be 1000 percent against the shot for your son. Also first hand knowledge from MD's where you work. So when they are wrong and your kid is sterile or worse, then what?

I am 66 had 2shots 1-Booster....piece of cake, Took 5min each time.....15 min all together......I get more of a reaction from a tommies cheese burger, I will never understand the what people are afraid of. When i had horses i de-wormed them, I would never eat that shit, the horses hated it and was hard to get it down

The reason i have not got covid is do to the vaccine.......F...ing simple ! I go every where ,No worries .At this point going every where i want to go not ever getting this
Report back when you get covid, we are all going to get it. I know several people that have gotten covid despite being fully vaccinated, my wife and I included.

I, on the flip side, also don’t understand what people are afraid of? When my wife got Covid, it was about 3 days of seasonal allergy symptoms, I was dang near as asymptomatic, my daughter had a headache... and dang near 95% of everyone I know had similar experiences.
The other .2 I get to watch die a slow painful death without visitation while their loved ones refuse to believe that COVID is an actual thing. Good stuff.

I have a customer/friend who thinks anybody that doesn't get vaxed is an idiot, why won't they, conspiracy theorists, etc. Since he's a good customer of mine I don't say anything (I know I'm a chicken shit & part of the problem as well sometimes but he's big money to me), but the fact is there's plenty of obvious reasons not to get it & to doubt it. , such as the only research available is produced by the manufacturer themselves. All of it actually, that's where the CDC & media gets fed their info.
