My Daughter just went through the area piloting an oversized load and it had just started. Going up the hill she said all you could see was smoke in the rear view mirror. Both Super Scooper’s are already on the fire and looks like many aircraft and helicopters on scene. Channel 5 is on it now, over 500 acres and growing. I know a lot of RPDs live in the area and hope everyone will be ok.

jeeze... I just looked at the intel....... she's a fast one. Fingers crossed I still have hopes they will stop it. But with it jumping, that decreases those chances.

According to Tim Sheehe on the Sean Ryan podcast #160. He's the new Rep. Senator elect from Montana and owns a wildlands fire fighting Co amongst other things. He's also an ret. Navy seal.
He stated that the terorist group alqida (sp?) Has stated they intend to attack us on the west coast from LA to Washington with wildland fires because they know that's our greatest vulnerability.
It was an extremely informative and interesting interview about our current firefighting systems and vulnerabilities etc.
I highly recommend listening to it to gain a more comprehensive and complete understanding of the highly vulnerable state we are in. It's truly mind boggling & crazy.....

Marin County FD, all staged up.
Must have been 60 or more engines and another equal amount of supervisor type pickup trucks.
