Running a little too hot north bound around the bend. Little oversteer.

Ask Dan (h2otoie) he knows all too well how temperamental a Ferrari can be! :-0

The people who can truly appreciate exotic cars, can rarely afford them.

And the people who can afford exotic cars, shouldn't be on the road at all.

Aint that the truth!!! Scared the shit out of me!!! That 360 was the most ill mannered car I've ever driven. It liked to spin. Had another buddy ball one up the same way by the way. Supposidly the 360's had a recall on them where the strut towers would break. No bueno for handling.

I've got a ton of track time & instruction from pro drivers, but I'm not good enough to be comfy with most mid-engine cars at 10/10ths.
Their handling at the limit tends toward snap oversteer that's difficult to catch/correct.
Add low-profile tires with stiff/skinny sidewalls, and you compound the issue.

Older 911's are worse, but Porsche has engineered much of the nastiness out of the later cars.

Front-engine/RWD is usually much more forgiving at the limits, they tend not to rotate as violently.

As I can see others here know first hand - the 3 series Ferrari's have a huge tendency to snap over steer. Cold tires, peaky throttle, a lot of weight in the back - these things spin like tops!

Im just lucky my adventures did not cost as much as some I have seen - I feel like I got off real easy.

Now when it comes to 911's spinning.... well, I did not get off so easy with that one:(

I wouldn't let an instructor driving my car unless he had previous experience with Vipers. My buddy who owns this Carrera4S
wouldn't last long in my car without some damage to the car [ heavy foot driver:)! 2013-10-22 12.45.51.jpg
