So this showed up on Monday. Built by the Roadster shop a few years ago. My customer bought it at Barrett Jackson and it died coming off the transporter. Pretty nice car but a little over done.

So we don’t experience this too often. The 65 gto went home on Tuesday evening after the customer took it for a test drive. And that was after I put about 50 miles on it. Well it was back in a tow truck Wednesday morning. Just started making a noise and stopped. Kicked two rods out and pretty much destroyed the numbers matching block. This car came in in pieces. No front suspension and the engine was assembled. My worker noticed it was missing the oil pump driveshaft so we fixed that before it went in. Now we get to do another Pontiac engine. He was sad but didn’t blame us thankfully. He is going to talk with his buddy who sold it to him as a fresh rebuild and ready to go. Shit happens.

The 70 mustang we are almost done with. My buddy did a 521 big block ford all done up for it. Now it seems to have trans problems. Typical the only thing we didn’t do is the trans because it was fresh.
