Not gonna lie, the people here also drive like idiots. I feel like though its controlled Chaos in Cali, here its just fuckery. Iv'e learned to just be the old guy in the slow lane and I give Zero Fucks.

I made a mistake last Friday to make a bombing run back to Cali to grab the last of my storage unit. left at 10am. I could not believe the amount of AZ people headed on the 10 to Cali. Every plate I saw was AZ. Took 9 hours to Huntington Beach. Sat for 1 hour outside Blythe for a standstill accident. It sucked ass!

When I need to go for business now, I am flying. No more driving for me.
We didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary when we were there.

On our way home we were cruising on the 10 about 85mph in a big line of cars passing trucks, after about 30 minutes I see a car dive out in between trucks and start making the pass to cut back in, CA plates lol. They were the only car that did that from Buckeye to Quartzite…

Welcome to Arizona but PLEASE LEAVE THE "CALLY WAYs" BACK THERE where it belongs , I see way too many move here and then bring their California ways with them ☹️
Besides the obvious politics what other CA ways to people bring?

Taking notes here…

Vote for higher taxes.
Vote for bigger and more government.
Vote for killing babies.

That's a start. 😳

Welcome to the chaos. Yep this week is easy driving. The area you are looking is fabulous. Lots of nice scenery, gorgeous houses and a laid back feel. Just remember that no matter how bad the traffic is going to be (and it will) you still get to go back to that.

Phoenix and the surrounding areas are simply a mecca of diverse and excellent food choices. Everything from backyard BBQ places to 5 star pizza joints.

Lots of boating, but off roading as well. We pull out of our driveway and in less than a minute we are in the desert. So much fun.

Hey you East Siders, don't forget us West Side Peeps when you start meeting up. Can't we all just get along?...lol

I had to drop off my father in laws car at the airport because I wasn’t able to pick them up the next day like we originally planned. Normally if I had to drive to LAX it would be at least a 2 hour deal…

This was our local airport after a 15 minute drive. Not a soul in sight mid day…

Just got accepted to our new rental home, we will end up in Queen Creek. As of now the plan is to get the keys on the 24th and be completely moved in by the 28th.

My Yukon ended up eating the cam, so in the middle of this shits how I’m trying to get that fixed. Too bad Maricopa county has smog otherwise she would be getting a DOD delete and some chop.

Move is now completed.

We did a turn around to get keys and take garage/ backyard stuff on Wednesday & Thursday. Picked up the now (fixed) Yukon on Friday morning and loaded another U-Haul Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. Rolled into Queen Creek about 9:45 last night. Got done unloading about 2:30 today.

Took the U-Haul back and on the way home the Yukon ate another lifter, now we are down to one vehicle and I start my new job tomorrow morning while my oldest starts Kindergarten. This will be an interesting week.

Life’s an adventure.

Congrats man I’m sure it’s for the better
Yeah, we’re excited. We really like the town we moved to.

Surprisingly my Fiancée who’s was not down to move when it first got brought up is the one who’s talking me off the ledge when I’m worried about the vehicle situation.

The boys are happy and that’s what it’s all about.

So far so good. Lots of good places to eat, tons of cool parks and things for the kiddos, and the storms are awesome.

I announced my political party to the neighbors finally, sad that all it takes is an American flag these days… The flag pole business must be lucrative out here, there are tons of them.

I’ll take a look, there seems to be a lot of one off or smaller chain restaurants.

I took the family to a dessert place last night that was featured on Shark Tank. It was really good.
