I have been drooling over this Conquest Boss Cat and I am curious of any input about these boats and how they ride? The one I was thinking of taking a look at has a Paul Pfaff 598 which I assume is plenty. But it also has a small open bow area, which may affect the ride.

I had an Eliminator 25 Daytona with a stock 502 which wasn't the fastest ride, but I loved the stability of the ride. Anyway, just looking for some insight.

Same bottom as the Top Cat deck boats. Plenty of those out there. if Propped right no need for tabs unless you want to pull a tube or wake boarder.

I've seen that silver one and looked it over hard. It is an amazingly nice float

Pretty boat. What year is the hull? Cats are a lot of fun if you have enough power to go at least 80 so you're up on the air pocket.
I have a 28 Daytona with twins and a 33 Daytona and neither of them are really fun until you get to 80mph.
Completely different boats once your up on the pocket.

That one is a 2007. The price point seems really good at $58k if it's as clean as the pics make it out to be.

58K is a great price point for this boat. As others have said same bottom as a Conquest deck boat. great riding boats

I agree with you BigQ. If the motor and drive check out OK, that looks like a great price compared to what stuff was going for during Covid

Can't go wrong. They just don't have the popularity that Conquest's deck boats have. Less known.

That hull has provisions for trim tabs that look clean. Right under the step of each sponson.

I like the look of that open bow better than the deck boats, but not as functional if you want to have more than 5-6 people on your boat.
Which I don't.

I live the look of the Boss Cats, especially the hatch area. I believe the bottom is based off the 25 Talon which a lot of west coast cats are.

For some reason I thought that boat was wrapped silver? Every time it pop ups for sale it is for a good deal.

I’ve always liked the look of them too, very sleek. Early 2000s we tried to race one down by Havasu Springs and he easily ran by us at 80-90, but I always remember how flat and stable it looked.

Speedboat magazine just did a review on it and I don’t think they had anything bad to say about it

I have a TopCat 1 and I think in 2007 or 2008 Conquest changed the bottom.

I was excited to come and look at it - then i spoke to my insurance agent and she literally laughed before saying that she can't insure any boats in CA anymore.
If I got 1100 stated HP insured, this should be REAL simple.
