I scored a mystery box from Joel and Amy and man am I stoked and excited. We did tacos last night and they were amazing (sorry no pics) but tonight I am doing his Beef short ribs in the slow cooker. Look at the fat content on these bad boys!

Spiced and in the slow cooker for 8 hours. See you tonight!

Got some bacon and ox-tail from Joel this weekend. The bacon was excellent and I will be smoking the ox-tail this weekend.

I can't tell you how much we appreciate these threads and posts guys! We're coming up on a decade of doing this now and all our hard work has paid off. Our quality and consistency are at a level we were sure we'd get to someday. 🥰
Now the new goal is dialing in these Orange County, Phoenix and Vegas deliveries. This is the final growth phase. Once we fill up these regular/repeat customer spots I can be done marketing for good. I'm dangerously close to being the guy with a cabover camper in a park on the strip somewhere during the winters, taking his chick out for midday cruises in an old beat up Hallet or Mandella flatty- at least a couple times per month between deliveries.

We appreciate you Joel! My wife and I watched the documentary last night on the big tv and she was hooked. I read all 17 pages again of you off the grid thread. Simply amazing what you guys have done and the WORK that went into it. A few more hours until dinner but they are looking amazing.

We appreciate you Joel! My wife and I watched the documentary last night on the big tv and she was hooked. I read all 17 pages again of you off the grid thread. Simply amazing what you guys have done and the WORK that went into it. A few more hours until dinner but they are looking amazing.

I picked up sampler pack, not that i needed to sample it, purchased beef from Joel way back when, but always too busy to drive out to pick it up in Arizona. With new OC delivery route, i will be buying as needed, Stater bros meat guy will just get a wave as i pass by from now on.

I'm trying to put enough people together for a San Diego County delivery as early as May. Will that get me closer to you than the 15/91 interchange?
Either one would work sounds like the meat is worth the drive

They were amazing! Very impressed. Lots of fat in the cuts but short ribs are supposed to be that way. Bones fell right out and meat was very rich and heavy in flavor.

Y'all have always got a place on the boat anytime you want. Mak would love to have your grand-daughter out to play as well either in Havasu or PHX. I will text you tomorrow bc we are discussing doing her 3rd bday party and you guys are welcome to bring her and join. Y'all have earned everything you have for a reputation, glad to be a customer, and glad to be able to drop you pics while I smoke/bbq what you guys raised.

Just took some T-bones out of the freezer to bbq on Thursday. Have ordered a few times, 1/4, then 1/2 and the last being full order that I split with a buddy. 1/2 will last a good amount of time being the wife and I with our 3 year old girl who eats as much meat as I do. Best part is getting the call from the butcher for your select cuts. Had Tomahawks cut up on this last order. My baby girl calls them dinosaur bones 🤣🤣🤣

Ok you guys, I know, I have posted everything I have cooked since I picked up my mystery box but tonight was all time. Keep in mind I traveled the country with a company credit and a large expense budget for entertainment and frequented some of the best steak houses in the country. But the Filet that I cooked tonight on my black stone with nothing but salt, pepper, garlic powder and butter (I am no chef by the way) was beyond good. Tender, full of flavor, and the taste really shows what hand grown beef and Joel’s hard work is made of. I am a customer forever Joel.

if you aren’t a buyer of Joel and Amys meat honestly you are missing out. A half is our annual beef consumption and we will continue to buy from @wash11 -and his family. My BIL just told me that this was the best steak I’ve ever made for them. I’m big into smoking so that means a lot but the credit goes to the other Joel (I get a laugh out of saying that)…thanks for delivering a top quality product, y’all are awesome!

Just picked up 1/8 can't eat a whole hind it would last us over a year it's just two of us. Joel found someone to split a hindquarter with us awesome meat and customer service!👍👍

We have tacos every Tuesday for some reason. I requested shredded beef tacos months ago and the wife kept putting me off. She’s on a fish and chicken kick. My Aunt used to make the best shredded beef tacos growing up.

She asked me a couple of days ago what piece of meat she should throw in the crockpot…as usual my response was short, just grab a piece of beef out of the freezer and put it in a the crock pot. Lol

Tacos were unbelievable tonight. I made the joke we were celebrating pride night with the taco holders. 👋

After dinner I asked what meat she picked….she told me brisket. A brisket…wtf…lol I almost fell over at the table but they were the best shredded beef tacos I have ever had. So good and the margarita didn’t suck either.

Made some burgers Sat and they were great and my son who is just now starting to eat burgers loved them. Guess I was too hungry and forgot the after pic.
