Or is it “on” the Caribbean? You all can discuss as desired.

Picked this old girl up on Tuesday. 1992 21’, 350/Alpha (gen 2). Well kept, supposedly one owner. Super clean interior and gel. 705 hours, so we’ll see if it makes it through the summer. Will have my towing subscription updated just in case.

Took it out for our maiden voyage late afternoon yesterday. It fired right up at Germain, but that must have been its last juice on those batteries. Had it backed down the ramp and no go. Pulled it out and ran to Autozone for new batteries. Was on the water at 4:30. Ran good around the island at 3000. Just cruising with the in-laws first time on the lake. Will push a little harder next outing.

Came with a 4-blade 17p aluminum prop that has a few dings. Looking for a stainless prop if anyone has one laying around that needs a home. Ideally 4-blade 19p-21p I think would work well for this boat. Or a 3-blade 23ish?

For inquiring minds, I did not buy this, I’m broke as sh*t getting my shop running. My sugar momma wife has been saving up and it’s in her name.

Congrats!

This comment is a sad reflection of the type of comments that come from the peanut gallery here. Too many members get way too nosey about the financial matters of others.

A 19p 4 blade would be perfect for that

I resemble that remark. Mine was an ‘88.

Cool. Teal, grays and white still work. 👍. 1992 it could have had a bunch of mauve, so you are lucky.

Congratulations

23 3 blade will be to much prop for it. I have 1 but it was off a 310 hp 454mpi.

A 19p 4 blade like mentioned and aluminum will be a good start.

Nice!

How's the shop coming along?
For not being "officially open" yet, I'm already slammed. Will have a few transmissions buttoned up and returned to customers next week (hopefully)

Was supposed to get my shotpeen cabinet delivered today, but driver called out sick, so that should hopefully be here on Monday. Big compressor still needs to get wired up, that should also happen on Monday. My little Home Depot Rigid 3-gal compressor is about to grow legs and walk out on me for what I've put it through this past week. Poor thing has been put through the ringer.

Quite a few boats of that era and HP had a five blade, I think mine was a 21 could have been a 19, it was 33 years ago.

Thinking back i pretty sure it was a 4 blade
5 blade high 5. 19p for jumping out the hole or towing skiers.
21 3 blade for top end. Not many were running 4 blades that i remember.
I don't remember where my high 5 went. I might have a 4 blade 19 or 21 at the river from old Plan B Larson.

I would bet west marine in Havasu has them on hand. I would try a 19 and 21. With under 300hp no need to invest in stainless prop until you figure out exactly what work ls best.

It was a high five, just seemed so long ago maybe it wasn't, 3 or 4 of my buddies all had same ultra's and yea they were a good prop for boat, we skied for hours and boats would still run right at 55-60 mph.

Nice boat! I found your story amusing. My wife bought my second boat a 2001 Commander Jet.

Start saving up for the next boat and when this one sells roll that with your savings into the next boat. Believe me, you'll be happy with the results.

Looks pretty minty… Definitely seems like it spent its life indoors. Congratulations. Beautiful boat. I love the colors.

Here's a little food for thought take your prop over to skips the prop shop have him refurbish and repair the prop that you have now and while you are in there ask him if you can have a loner prop until that one is repaired and then that way you will know how a different prop will work for you if you decide to change down the line. He is right down the street where Clover restaurant is on the opposite side of the street. Good looking boat by the way nice

Skips is still around? My dad used to go there 30 years ago. Good to know. I might take a trip over there, sounds like they are right by my shop.

Don't make a special trip for it, but I am definitely interested. Boat came with a spare aluminum 3-blade 23p. I figured there's a reason why the previous owners put a 4-blade 17p on it.

The Son is still doing it, it was one of those Father and Son differences and split up but the Son is still doing it it's right down the street on the same side of the street as Peggy Sue's diner

I am actually out here this weekend so no big deal. It is a 21p mirage.
