The Bonanza can do Cali to FL in am easy two days. Spend the night somewhere in TX. The 'Toga can do the same but carry more stuff.

I've got a set of airline tickets that need to be used by the end of the year but, like you,.I've found the airlines keep jerking us around. Once they are gone (either expire or I find a use) we will avoid the airlines except for travel to Europe.

I went 53 years convinced i didn’t want a pilot license/plane. Got one ride to Havasu and i started thinking about it. Wife got a ride a few months later and now she’s asking about it.
Now to figure out the $$$$$. May have to sell some stuff.

I started following a couple plane feeds on IG and get these all day long to mess with me.

14 of us went to Nashville last week and I believe 10 people in the group had a flight to LAX on Sunday and AA cancelled their flights that morning and rescheduled them to Monday. Most of them didn't mind staying another day but a few had to scramble and pay an additional $400 to get on another flight. We had southwest to Burbank and that was fine.

By the way, Nashville is one of my favorite places now. First time there and I can't wait to go back.

It isn’t just AA. Southwest just canclled and rescheduled flights for my SIL only to have them canceled again out of Burbank. It’s a total cluster fuck all the way around. Yesterday. And then this morning. Early flight but sent a text at 1 am saying cancled

They are all awesome to be honest. Just take a stroll on Broadway and see what you like and go in. All the bands are in the front of the bars so you can see and hear them as you go by.

Tough to go back to driving it once you enjoy what we call the “Time Machine”. Noting like taking off and still getting a full day on the water. I just happen to be good friends with a couple of buddies that run out every few weeks. Bummer part for me is my wife doesn’t enjoy private planes and would rather drive when we go together. Guess there will be more Boy trips in my future!

Holy shit. I got boned by American Airlines (again, this fuckin airline is dog shit). Booked our tickets to Key west for the worlds next month back in Feb. Leaving Burbank, quick change of planes in Dallas, then straight to Key West. We specifically picked this route because most other routes go LAX to Miami then hopper down to KW. Purposefully selected Burbank for obvious reasons as it's a much easier and closer airport but also this flight because you only fly 2.5 hours, get to stretch your legs for 45 minutes then fly 2.5 hours directly to KW. Where the LAX to Miami is a 5 hour flight (long time to be seated) then layover for a 45 minute flight. Its just all around easier to do the Burbank -> Dallas route. Get a notice last week they changed us from Burbank to LAX, still stopping on the way out in Dallas but coming home it stops in Miami. Also, the times are all different. Moved us from 12:45 leave time out of Burbank to 7am leave time out of LAX. WTF!? I'm pretty livid.

I really never have much success with dealing with stuff like this. Anyone ever dealt with this shit and had success with getting some sort of resolution?

Not the first time American Airlines has completely fucked us. They left us at the gate EARLY after we'd prechecked and checked our baggage once in Hawaii. Last flight too. They were complete assholes about it.

Looks like southwest is going to one up AA.

& they didnt fuck you. At least they notified.you. Try showing up with the kids and find out your flight left 45 minutes ago.

This isn’t just an AA problem.

Frontier has cancelled flights, rebooked me on other flights and never notified me. Luckily I figured it out a couple days before the flight otherwise I would have my missed my flights because they were moved to much earlier times that I couldn’t make. No refund, no credits, not even an apology.

Southwest cancelled my wife’s flight from MN to Denver a month ago. They booked her on a different flight that was a month away. I had to end up booking her on a different airline that cost significantly more due to it being last minute. Southwest gave us a credit for what we paid for the original ticket but wouldn’t give us a refund.

Southwest cancelled 150 flights in and out of DIA over the past two days and their explanation has been proven to be a lie.

All of the airlines are a complete sh*t show right now and air travel sucks.
